For all of you idiots...I'm sorry...people who stated that Jordan and Pippen were the reasons people are not coming to Chicago....listen to Nazr Mohammed's interview with Bernstein and Holmes at the beginning of the 3PM hour. He practically laughs at the thought of that scenario being used.
I am guessing those who stated that are butthurt because Pippen was underpaid those years. Which was HIS FAULT! But then again...one guy on here claims to know so much basketball...because he played at the local Y...good grief
LoL at Mohammeds interview......Who cares what he sayed.....I mean, who is he?
Never was and isn't a star........of course he laughed at that scenerio, probably because he knows its true..Hasn't he been on like 10 different teams?......
Maybe he denies the truth about stars not wanting to play here, because he has to say nice things considering he just became a Bull and is lucky to have a job. That's why he laughed.....Do you actually think for a second that Nazr would publicly say anything against the Bulls orginization? Even if he knows its partly true because he has played with other stars being on so many different teams, its not like he's going to say it in an interview.....so soon, especially when he just got here......You don't insult your new team......duh, even when you know about the negative opinions about how former STAR teammates of his may have shared with Nazr in the past......Come on man, get real bro....
You using Nazr as an example of how superstars feel about coming to Chicago(as if Nazr is like a star or somthing) has messed up your credibility just a little bit more than it already is........My chuckle at your post was louder than Mohammeds laugh at a scenerio.
Use an interview of an actual NBA star and how they feel about the scenerio.....Of course you won't, it would discredit your new found excuse.
Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and all......its obvious Nazr has a sense of humor.

Lol heff just got owned
He laughed because he knows what is important to NBA superstars...what happened to Scottie Pippen only hurts your feelings. You know what the NBA superstars see? Pippen sitting on the sidelines, yelling at them...and getting paid for it! It is sad that this meatball crap is accepted as some kind of truth.
It doesn't matter if he is a superstar...he plays in the league...with superstars. I would expect him to know more about the situation than you do...I would expect ANYBODY to know more about the situation than you do.
amnesty clause expires at the start the 2013-2014 season i think
Each team is allowed to waive a player without having their salary count toward the salary cap or luxury tax. One player can be waived prior to the start of any season from 2011–12 through 2015–16. It can be exercised during the seven days that follow the July moratorium. Each team is restricted to one "amnestied" player during that time. Only players signed prior to 2011–12 are eligible. Teams can claim an amnestied player at a reduced rate, with the waiving team responsible for paying the balance of the contract. The team with the highest bid acquires the player. If unclaimed, the player becomes a free agent. Teams over the salary cap can only acquire an amnestied player if he becomes a free agent, and the offer would be limited to the veteran's minimum contract.
