He's consistent for the most part and far more servicable then Boozer. Make it happen.

Gasol would be better than Boozer, but I think Pax needs to stay focused on Dwight Howard.

If its Boozer and bench player, I do it in a heart beat. If its Noah and Boozer. Nope.

Well, Howard is delusional enough to think he can be the closer on a title team. Sad but true.

I don't think anyone wants Howard to be our closer.
That's never been his role anyway....
WE NEED HIM FOR ALL HIS OTHER SKILLS.
We have a closer named derrick rose.
Rose and Howard would be a serious 1-2 punch and you know it.

Gasol or Howard?

That should be easy to answer.

Cool, but I just don't understand why after all the time Rose has been a Bull, of all the players in the league, the first time Rose ever speaks about wanting another player here, of all people its GASOL....
Not Howard, not Melo, not Lebron, not Wade, not Kobe, not Dirk, not Griffith, not Durant.....But Gasol????????
This is very very strange........

And if the Lakers are shopping Gasol, why wouldn't they be using him as a package to bring Howard to the Lakers???? Why he **** would they want Boozer??

This all doesn't make any sense at all......I find this whole thing very very humerous.

Bynum, Noah
Boozer, (Noah), (Bynum)
Brewer, Barnes, Kapono
Bryant, Morris, Goudelock
Watson, Fisher, Blake

I could see why the Lakers would do that.

And the Bulls would still have:

Gasol, Asik
Gibson, (Gasol)
Deng, Peace, (Butler)
Hamilton, Korver, Butler
Rose, James, Lucas

The Bulls would need to depend on Hamilton being healthy to win this year (they still already do essentially). I just might make the deal.

Maybe Rose knows we would need to give up Deng no matter what to be in the play for Howard. Gasol brings more versatility than Howard with almost all of the offense and we would likely be able to dangle Noah and Boozer out there to make it happen. And the Lakers are also desperate for a PG and SF (Watson and Brewer).

If the Lakers gave up Odom for almost nothing and if Pau Gasol really wants the rumors to end and get out of LA then it could really happen. The Bulls should only give up Boozer, CJ and maybe a draft pick but THAT'S IT. I have read that Lakers fans also want Deng and Asik LMFAO NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

With Howard and Rose you wouldn't need a closer. And if you do once in a while you have Rose. And if he misses BANG!Someone will dunk it very hard.

So get Howard now and stop talking about ex players or players that would be ex players in 2 years like Gasol!

Nice avy sp94!

Well if I was a Lakers fan I would want them too. I'd give them Gasol and some garbage and take back half their starting lineup. Who wouldn't do that? But yes, that would never happen. A reasonable trade (or as close to reasonable as it can get because it still doesn't make much sense for the Lakers) would be that Gasol for Boozer/Watson deal.

The lakers have something in their mind probably.A 3 way trade with Rockets that will land them Howard.I don't know. But I wouldn't trade Boozer+CJ with Gasol.Better player but thanks no.CJ can play with DRose when you need 2 PG,he can hit 3s and Boozer is really improved this year. The Bulls would be better in PF position but will lose in depth. And looking at Boozers and Gasol's bodies guess who is more likely to get injured this year.Boozer lost weight and he is OK now.

THEY MUST NOT LET THIS OPPORTUNITY PASS.IT IS A BEST C TRADE GOD DAMNIT.WHENEVER IT HAPPENS WE HAVE MULTICHAMPIONS.DON'T LET THE FAKERS AGAIN.WE HAVE THE PIECES TO TRADE.JUST DO IT.

The only way id give up half our team to the Lakers for Gasol is if Kobe is part of the deal instead of Artest.
Artest hasn't been the same guy since he became Metta World Peace..he's become kind of soft.

Kobe and Derrick have a lot of admiration and respect for one another.
They would be great teammates like Jordan and Pip.

If Kobe is going to pass the torch to Rose, he might as well do it here and get another ring or 2 in the process.

Rose + Gasol + Kobe = at least 2 championships in 3 years starting with 2012.

Gasol is almost 33

Kobe at 34 is still one of the best players in the game today and probably has at least 2 years left being a top player....He's still hungry and craves another ring like a junkie craves there drugs.

Kobe is still much better than Brewer, Rip or Korver with 1 arm tied behind his back.

Of course he is.

I am against Gasol trade for the exact same reason. He is old and soft.Boozer take the team on his shoulders and win some games.Gasol can't do this.He is a better PF from Boozer but many old players will get injured until the end of the year AND I don't trust the Lakers. Why they would have done this trade if they don't have something else in their minds? For CJ Watson? For sure he is better from every PG they have but is this the reason?

AND EXCEPT ALL THAT.IN A PERIOD THAT THE MOST DOMINANT PLAYER IN THE PLANET REQUEST A TRADE YOU ONLY FOCUS ON HOW YOU GET HIM IN YOUR TEAM.NO GASOL.NO JR SMITH.NO PRUTSISBILLA.NOTHING ELSE.
