the sox are going to get roasted at this event, especially now that we wont contend for another 9 years with the fielder signing.

I'm pretty pessimistic, but I don't expect Prince to hold for 9 years. Detroit will probably have to eat the last few years of that deal.

I don't understand. I get he's a fan favorite, but he has his ring already and he can rake in the dough and live comfortable where he chooses. He doesn't exactly need to be shipped to a contender. I think he really wants to remain either be here in his manse in Palos or in his 15k square foot manse in Arizona.

Paulie seems like a very loyal guy. I think he wants to retire a White Sox player. Hope the team can make one more run at the World Series with him before he is done though.

I wish i was able to go, I would have a lot to say. there may even be a riot of sox fans with how this offseason goes.

if the sox were smart ( and they arent ) they would make some sort of move whether its landing cespedes or a signing of some sort like damon to ease the tension.

Me too. I'm still holding out hope that they can make some noise this year. If everyone hits even to their averages, this team could be decent or even contend for a WC spot. Just gotta stay positive.
