TONS of groundouts.

Volstad will do that. It is just when they aren't on the ground they tend to leave the yard unforunately, but if he could figure that one out the Cubs might have made a really nice deal.

Mather dont have options either i dont think. So i can see Campy starting year in AAA

Mather was signed to a minor league deal this year so both Campana and Mather could be sent to the minors without exposing them to waivers.

Its possible that it might, but since the guy has had very little service time at the major league level and was signed in January I doubt it.

?

Cubs already said he be opening day 1B even if he struggled. They want to save 1 yr of Rizzo FA time

Actually, they just don't want Rizzo to be up until he's ready as he obviously wasn't ready last year.

That is a factor too, of course.

You dont think he ready? I think Petco does things to hitters. Makes them mental. Now that he out of Petco and at a smaller stadium i think he be mentaly fine. I believe he better then LaHair right now. To me its the same thing on Jackson. Jackson is ready to be playing in MLB but they want to save 1 yr of FA which makes alot of sense for a rebuilding team

You are so mind boggling, you are mad about no Fielder but then you want to rush Rizzo lol

Or they want to do both. It is pointless to let him play when he isnt ready. Also pointless to rush him when holding him back gives us another year of control. We are gonna suck regardless we shouldn't waste money by having Rizzo waste a year of time.

LaHair is not gunna make it...

because of a poor Spring?? Than I guess Fonzie will win the MVP because he is raking this spring???

yes very flawed logic.

He may suck in spring but way to early to say he wont make it and even if he doesnt make it we suck so it isnt that big of deal if he plays bad.

The dude hit 15hrs in winter ball so does that mean he will be a star?? Because winter ball is a hell of a lot more competitive than Spring training. I just dont like your logic at all.
