How would that team not win 85+?

Name me a better front 3 ?

PHI is doing that now. Have great 1-3 SP.. AVG offense... Cubs offense would be avg with adding those guys to everyday lineup

Fun fact. The Phillies were well above the league average in runs per game last season.

LOL at "average offense"

Oh my gawd... You're comparing the Cubs to the Phillies.. really?!

Are you that brainless?

You're comparing guys like LaHair to Howard? Barney to Utley?

Our starting staff to theirs?

You are an idiot.

No, Erick Aybar was going to replace Barney and Andre Ethier was going to replace somebody in the outfield. It would've been enough!

Hamels, Cain, Garza 1-3 SP would WIN 85 + with an AVG offense

Thats what Doc, Lee, and Hamels are doing now... AVG offense that ranked 13th out of 30th

SFG SP winning with offense ranked around dead last.

SP WINS!!!!!

D3a listens to this song on repeat and then goes and pulls the Uncle Rico in the back yard with a camera throwing baseballs at it to watch later and talk about how he couldn've made it!

Okay, argument over, nothing to see here...move on.

Cubs lineup vs. SFGiants (3/16): DeJesus RF, Byrd CF, Castro SS, Rizzo 1B, Mather 3B, Clevenger C, Sappelt LF, Cardenas 2B, Garza P

Yeah not to mention, the Cubs won't get those 2 CY contenders.

I have a feeling Byrd will be the 2 hitter on opening day, he's been hitting there a lot lately. I'm totally fine with that too.

I'm not as happy with that because Byrd seems to be an extreme ground ball hitter and he's not particularly patient. I'd rather DeJesus and Castro be up top and Byrd shift down in the order, but since this season doesn't really matter anyway, I don't really care.
