This may come off as bitching, but it should be "Hey STH, prepare for an increase in you ticket prices".

This statue

Moms trip

New rings for the '61 Champs

30k rings for everyone in the Organization.

But the Hawks are still poor.

Maybe you shouldn't be doing the above if you are losing money.

lmao!!!!!!!!!!

ohhhh RK that was perfect.

As for the statues...nice gesture and they will certainly look great and well deserved. I think there is a point where all of this becomes smothering though. Glad the Hawks have reached out to Bob and Stan as they deserve it BUT lets not get carried away. I think they get the point. Nice to have the relationship back let's tone it down a bit now and focus on the now and the future a bit more.

Should I make a bronzed statue of Bobby beating the hell outta his wife and place it there too?

In that case they may need two statues since it's documented he beat two wives.

I feel the statue is more representative of both, but hey, seeing as the organization is spending money it says it doesn't have, maybe I should follow their lead.

Good post. I never understood this Mom's Trip / Dad's Trip crap either and why the organization has to pay for it. Let the players foot the dime for it, the organization can just do the scheduling for it. I'm very much aware those costs are passed down to us the STH. I remember the Dad's trip last year, first stop was the golf course after their flight. People on the O boards were all drooling about that and how 'cool' it was. Why is it cool? That a player hits a golf ball with his dad? Do it on your own time.

Most of the NHL teams do a Dads trip. Nothing new. Just new for the Hawks.

We could go back to the old days of not winning shit and doing nothing extra.

I wouldn't mind much the "bandwagoners" would leave.

I don't mind the organization footing the airfare, as they have the plane chartered anyway, or a nice token of appreciation to the dads/moms, but when you say we are losing money why would you incur even more financial hardships?

And I'd be able to actually get a good seat for a cheaper rate. (I'll never forget my first Hawks game cost $8 in 108 back in 2007.)

But lets be honest here, I seriously doubt you guys want to see a losing team to ***** at every night...

That guy is a grade A toolbag.

HOWEVER, maybe they shouldn't have torn down the Stadium so I could have seen a game there.

"Retiring a number is something that almost every single great player of an organization will surely receive, but the honor of having a statue built in your likeness is something extra."

Really dude? Really ?!?!?

What a tool that guy is.
