No, all call that a 2-1-2 forecheck. The 1st number in a forecheck system is how many guys are on the puck carrier. 3-2 would literally mean an all out forecheck where all 3 guys are on the puck. Nobody plays that way, as its FUCKING Special person.

Do me a favor and Google a 3-2 hockey forecheck; you will notice absolutely nothing comes back with that besides a 2-3, which isn't what you're talking about.

2-1-2 is more passive?? If the 3rd forward is sitting high till the puck comes out, then it's not a 3-2, it's a 2-1-2 because the 3rd forward isn't on the puck.

Right, but for it to be a 3-2, all 3 forwards need to be on the puck carrier, if only 2 go in and 1 stays high, it's a 2-1-2. For it to be a 3-2 literally all 3 forwards would need to be in the corner pressuring, which is no such thing.

I can't make it anymore clear, there is no such thing as a 3-2 forecheck. If there was, it would be the worst forecheck in the game because once that puck is moved on the break out, the opposition would have an immediate 3 on 2 rush.
