Going back to something they settled on before. Try it against lightning. Every team is different and Q likes to play the best hand when he thinks he needs it, but will let roll with a tweak that works until it doesn't. Kane and Toews solved Ducks, but this was the lines that defeated Nashville and swept Predators. He will do anything he observes necessary during the game. Great coach who has passion, knows the ups and downs emotionally of the game and a locker room, and always keeps control and trust despite great players under him. We take too much for granted, he is a great coach he plays this team and hockey line battles like a finely tuned instrument at the hands of an artist. He adapts quickly until he can stick with what works. I believe our players are so schooled into a system that we play better with anybody next to you at all than other teams seem able to adjust to the nuances of changes. However, when he finds something with a spark, he likes to stick to it and will remember it for later if it gives him some success. This line formation took all season to develop but those 12 are our 12. Vermeer played his way out with a fully healthy and Teuvo timed Hawks. Desjardins was able to play his way in.

It doesn't mean that in the heat of battle down 2-3 he doesn't decide his best offensive chance is to pile Saad-Toews-Kane at them again and double Kane onto the Teuvo line. He'll still try all those hands as needed and when the time is right. Q is going to bring it in game 3. We better have "good" Crow, not "bad" Crow.

Anyway, I think the quality of our "fresh legs" is improved and I feel a little bad for Carcillo and Timonen. Nordstem, Versteeg. Its crazy that Rozy would have had an impact were he healthy. Rumbled does some good things and his plus minus isn't really an accident. We should trust him more because he can also lead to scoring and plays above his mistakes. I'm not against giving TVR some minutes if Cumisky/Runblaad are not cutting it.
