I know there's always a long list of injuries that are revealed after a season ends, but it seems like the number of issues that the Hawks have been dealing with this postseason are going to be incredibly long.

Of course everyone has injuries.

But this team is only playing 4 Dmen. One with the flu and another with a bad wing.

Could be a reason the transition game is suffering a bit and the importance of not letting in soft goals.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Those two points are somewhat contradictory. The entire team played great defense, including Crow. That's why I won't say he stole it, because he had help. When a team kills four penalties, a 2-minute 6 on 5, and allows only 24 shots, that's a great team D effort.
He also kept the team in it in the 1st and 2nd and made some awesome saves on difficult shots while the team was still in the process of showing up.

Not knocking the team D in this one overall, but had Crawford played like he did in game 3 and not been completely on early on we would have got creamed. He kept the game as close as anyone could have.
Seabrook also saved the game (and maybe the series) on his Stamkos shot block when he had the entire 6x4 net
Seabrook also took a fuckton of bad penalties and was one of the 3 players at fault for the goal against--and it's hard to fault VanReimsLesbian too much since he's unseasoned. Even if he's sick he's gotta play smarter.

There's no denying Crawford was the reason we won last night.

I can't wait to see who will blast me for this.

Yep. He only looked shitty on goal and Seabrook still had the best save of the night.

I personally don't think he was to blame too much on that one. Could he have stopped it? Yes. To me, it's one of those times you have to tip your cap to the opponent. Stamkos made a great pass to Killorn.

If the Hawks win this Cup, it will be the Fab 4 Dmen who deserve the lions share of credit

Best four blueliners the hawks have ever had on one team easily. And this isnt even Hammers best series or playoffs all around. But again it all starts with Keiths ability to log those minutes he does and be productive with them. You take keith off that blueline and its fucked. I love me some seabs, love me some oduya and love me some hammer but they all need to get together and give duncs a mark messier coupon for free blow and tranny tea cup rides.

But yah oduya was fucking amazing last night even while being a target for the first two periods. He was getting hit haaaaard.

Wouldnt be shocked if seabs actually did have the flu or something because besides that save last night he was pretty sluggish. Wasnt hard to see. Something was not right at all with him. And if seabs has the flu im guessing a couple may probably have it also which is super lame o.

Oduya needs to be resigned.

If anyone thinks that they can go with Johns/TVR/Pokka or any of those guys as a replacement are delusional. The top 4 will need to be back.

Filppula made the great pass to Killorn. Seabs tripped Stamkos, the puck went to Filppula who then made the pass to Killorn.

Depends on what you mean by go by and if you ignore there is a situation called trades? and trade deadlines? and potential to have to acquire at least someone back in return of some cap trades and maybe that someone could be a different 4-5th dman to fill the bill next to developing players.

Relax, flu is not that contagious... I guess. I don't remember other players having it when Michael had it. Hell, I haven't had the flu in like 20 years, I always get a chuckle every winter when I see "flu shots here"

Not getting nearly enough credit was the play of Johnny Oduya. Guy will be playing for the rest of the series with 1 arm and he may have been the best defender the Hawks had, again.

It would have been even better if he had realized that Kucherov is actually fast

He was one of the reasons, but the D in front of him was stellar. Seabs and Duncs kept pucks out of wide open nets and the PK was fantastic. And we also had a couple of gentleman put the puck in the net for the good guys.

Team game.

^^^I'll pretend I didn't see any of that.

Winning the cup at home would be amazing. I'll take a Game 7 win to seal the dynasty but imagine winning our 3rd cup in 6 years on home ice in front of our he crowd.

Speaking of dynasties: Do you, or anyone else, find yourself tiring of CSN's indefatigable labeling of this series -- and the 2015 postseason as a whole -- as the "Road to a Dynasty"?

Don't know about you guys, but if the 'Hawks lose this series I will personally blame CSN for jinxing their run.

Haven't noticed that of CSN, the only marketing bit I recall is their all 4 teams on one day! celebration

TVR has looked terrible. Turnovers. Looks lost. Has great position going into the boards, then gives it up, seemingly without a fight

He did give away the puck a couple of times which cost them.
