Derek Jeter was tearing up Triple AAA as a 21 year old....IMO the only thing that stops Starlin Castro from becoming great is a freak injury or Burger King.

considering his success in the Majors at an age where both of these great SSs werent even in the Majors....i'd say Starlin could potentially be as good......

Castro has 34 swings this year and he has made contact on every single one so far.

No doubt Miggy is much bigger and stronger. But he has Miggy talent with the bat not the power but the kid can flat out hit the ball. Although i think Castro can get enoght power to be a 25-30 hr guy. I was just pointing out some guys are so talented that even distractions wont stop them. Most ball players back in the day were fat and still really good baseball players.

I honestly don't think he'll be a 25-30 home run guy. I'd love to see it, but I don't think he has that much power. He'll be right around 15-17, or so.
