Things to note:
Castro has improved his fielding % every year.
His 22 errors last season were his fewest in his career.

We'll keep track of 'em here. I think he breaks into the teens this year, barely.

Errors:
Error #1 - 4/2/14 - @ Pittsburgh - Field
Error #2 - 4/6/14 - Vs. Philadelphia - Field

Pre-Season Estimations:

X - 19
Fisch - 13
Daddies3Angles - 19
DewsSox79 - 24
dabears253313 - 12
Zack54Attack - 17
Chibears55 - 16
PatG006 - 26
SilenceS - 15
Boobaby1 - 23
CSF77 - 16
Parade_Rain - 15
Brett05 - 14
Ziggy - 18

That would be a cause for celebration in all honesty wouldn't it?

26 errors and will lead the league again but people will still talk about how much he is improving.

15. I think Castro grew up after last season. He saw what a bad season is like and should be hungry. If not, then he will never be more than what he has already been.f

Hungry to hit I agree with. Fielding? Not so much.

He is what he is and I say 23 errors as he will pressure himself into thinking that Baez is coming up behind him regardless if Castro said he wouldn't mind moving positions.

So far 8 people say he will have the best fielding year of his career by a pretty decent margain.

3 people make predictions in line with his career averages.

Nah, not a bunch of fanboys or anything around here.

But after all we do have a couple people trying to argue that $16M is more than $36M on another thread so nothing really should surprise anyone.

Yeah! And I get lambasted for calling people koolaid drinkers?

People claim that Castro will have his best season ever defensively and regain some of his swing, Rizzo will get back to normal and post a 270-280 clip in average, E-Jax will get back to his norms in pitching, all the seemingly good trades versus never saying one bad thing about the bad ones, the prospect talk that I won't even begin to discuss, and someone says that his definition of koolaid drinking is thinking the Cubs will win 90-95 games.

This is why I said there is very little middle ground and I rest my case.

It works both ways. I see a fielder who has improved his fielding percentage every year, but I'm ridiculous if I think the trend continues. Lol
