is that general advice or specific to this

Id recommend riding a SPAC all the way through speculation and hype. And then on through up until day of merger. After that? Profit and never look back.

CCIV will run some more. It has killed it lately. But as soon as they announce merger date, I may split.
The actual car company, Lucid(the co. many think they will acquire) may be worth looking into.

If anyone is looking into SPACS that haven't found their acquisitions, I still highly recommend PSTH.

Educate me because this is the first SPAC I’ve actually Stuck with outside of trying to make a few bucks on others. I’ve been in since $12.50. When you say Lucid may be worth looking into, what do you mean because when they agree on the merger CCIV will become whatever symbol Lucid would fall under. I like the idea of holding Lucid shares long term. I was going to sell 25% of what I have left once it runs if/when it becomes official.

My buddy sent me an article on PSTH earlier. Now I gotta read into it.

If you're getting into crypto, I think Ethereum has a large upside with the upcoming 2.0 network. Then by someone that has been in crypto for a few years (deep into it), he recommended Chain Link (LINK) has a coin that doesn't get a ton of press but has huge upside as well. It's around $30-$35 right now, but he thinks it could see $100+ by the end of the year. He also recommended Polka Dot and Cardano.

ALGO is another to keep an eye on. I have them in a ALGO wallet that pays a 7% return just for holding them. Obviously the value can fluctuate dramatically, so you don't want to just park thousands of dollars you could lose in it, but it also has a pretty large upside.

Thought I'd share a few that I like or currently own. I think, with the more mainstream acceptance of crypto now vs 2015-17, we're going to see explode more than it already has. There are some analysts who think Ethereum could be $10k+ by the end of the year. Sounds crazy to me, but as a holder of Ethereum I hope it happens.

Lucid and CCIV will merge and become a new ticker. the market will react to new companies valuation and it will plummet. Then buy it. But dump all your shares before the merger otherwise you will be holding bags. many bags

I did something like this with nkla. It was sideways for a little after the merger, then shot up and I sold all of it near it's highs.

also, I gots positions in both TCNNF and HYFM

and if I ever get verified on bionce.us I will buy into a VET dip

thanks to the meme stonks fad, I am now kinda obsessed with this shit and have realized how Special person it was to have a bunch of money sitting in a savings account

I would look into long term blue chip stocks first. Shit like apple, amazon, visa, etc. and build a strong portfolio before giving into the speculative stocks/crypto. And always do your due diligence. My spec investments (currently weed/crypto) are less than 1% of all my investments and I personally keep them in separate accounts from my longer term stocks.

I'm currently trying to learn how to do some tech analysis to see if I can spot some trends on these damn graphs that have me cross-eyed.

FTR, when I usually see the market have a somewhat decent drop, that's when I like to make my monthly deposit into my accounts.

Thoughts?

I'm only in APHA when it comes to Canadian. Problem with APHA is its been pumped up on hype more so than fundamentals, though long term I still like their fundamentals with the numbers. They are merging with Tilray to become a much bigger company, but of course there is still risk there. Though APHA's pump made me almost just want to drop the stock when I had a 100% gain, but I decided to hold and stick to my usual philosophy. However, I continue to follow that stock closely because there is just too much volatility to it at this time.

MSO's have a lot more potential with states pushing legalization and possibility that Congress allows them to use the US banking system at the very list. This will allow them to uplist to US exchanges and thus have even more potential buyers. This is why I jumped in on 3 MSOs while eyeing a 4th, but decided to not proceed at this time. I plan to hold these for several years.

The US has greater potential, due to a much larger market / population than Canada has. Ability to expand will be greater. However, as with anything, there are of course still risks.

exactly what I’ve been saying for a year or so now. The American companies are already more profitable than the Canadian ones, you’d think it was legal in the US and not Canada. US pot stocks are the right move

Agree on the US stocks, tho imo, we are still in the phase of riding waves as states go recreational one at a time. I think federal movement is still a ways off. Popular or not, I just don't think the Biden administration or the DNC is gon want to spend political capital on weed legislation. Not when they have so many big issue items they want to pass.

Its why I like TCNNF. They have a majority of the FLA market and are still expanding like motherfuckers while maintaining a positive balance sheet. FLA prob gon go recreational within the next 2 election cycles (4 years). It will probs be a long play, like 1-3 years to see real big gains, so maybe that makes it dumb, idk.

But then again, I am just a Special person

Is anyone else watching/listening to the GME fiasco hearings right now?

Most of our Reps are so bad at getting to the point of their questions.

Holy **** that was painful to watch. It's hilarious how little the people on the House Financial Services Committee actually know about said financial services. 99% of the hearing had absolutely nothing to do with the shenanigans of the GME play. The 1% of that did, only barely scratched the surface of the iceberg. Seriously, all that time bickering about order flow was a waste. How the **** do you talk for 5+ hours and have nobody ask about GME's absurd amount of FTDs or ask how GME came to be shorted so far over float?

The absolute best part tho was after ignoring DFV the entire hearing someone finally pretends to give him a chance to speak only to immediately cut him off the moment he starts giving them legitimate DD and mentions Ryan Cohen's name...
