A strong jobs report leads to a stock market crash—proof that a thriving middle and working class isn't always in the best interest of the wealthy. When good news for workers sparks fear of inflation and reduced rate cuts, it’s clear where the priorities lie.

If you haven't been building a small pile of XRP, what have you even been doing?

I bought a good amount of Hims & Hers at $6. I'm pretty happy right now

MTG being excluded from the GOP Insider Trading Group Chat is the least surprising thing since Ommy died.

Ive made a bunch of money just buying puts on the S&P pretty much every day. Every time the market goes green or (way more often given the last month) I see a .4+% inter-day bounce I buy puts for 3 weeks to a month out atm or 1% out of the money. They hit every time as long as you dont panic sell on a bounce. Just wait for orange man to do something to scare the markets again and they keep going down and puts keep making money. I've grown my port by 30% this month literally just doing that.

It sucks that hes driving the market into the ground, like thats not a good thing, but if you recognize/trust that is whats happening you can make money on the way down just as easily as on the way up.

yes, you can. just the issue there is you can lose a lot very quickly when the markets rebound if you arent out by then

I trade with a stoploss on all of my securities which works on derivatives as long as theres more than a 2 weeks til expiration when pricing can start to fluxuate wildly at open.

thats great and all, but still only applies to that time frame you mentioned

do you only trade options?

Mostly options, I liquidated almost all of my shares in late December expecting economic turbulence.

Edit: you didnt ask but i wanted to elaborate. By their nature monthly derivatives are a timed play, im looking to get in and out in no longer than a week - this is not a buy and hold play at all. Im trading channels and zones that I try to identify on daily and weekly charts:

As you can see its been a really good few weeks for my trading strat but I plan my entrance and stop loss around the channel, eventually we will breakout to one side and ill go back to wait and see with my dry powder. I expect turbulence to continue and I dont think this is a good environment for buying and holding unless you are comfortable not looking at your port for a year. I have a decent sized UTMA for my kid that is all shares/no derivatives and I take a completely different approach to his assets (zero trading, just buy and dont look for 10 years).

Been another really good week for Puts. Confident next week S&P gets into the 5400's.
