That is kinda how it goes with everything that the government sticks it dick into.

yep! They were pissed because they were making zero tax revenue because the companies were offshore due to it being illegal in the states. Yet, the government wasn’t willing to make it legal to create said tax revenue. Fucking asshats

Bought a 100 share of Draft King at 19.70. Pray to god there is actually something to bet on.

You're a bold man. Draftkings, like weed stock, pretty much depends on mass legalization. I think it's coming with gambling though. Still on the fence here though, so I'll likely end up missing out.

It's sounds like it will be something along the lines of bovada.

How overvalued are tech stocks right now? I feel like tech and health care stocks are overpriced.

I trimmed my exposure to healthcare recently. I would say tech is overvalued as well, but tech has been over valued for years now. It gets the benefit of the doubt on its extremely high P/E ratios compared to the rest of the market because it represents growth.

If @truthbedamned Caught a twenty percent win, I would take at least some of that win, and set some stops.

Yeah if you were looking to swing trade it, 20 % is fantastic. I normally try and get 10% gains on those kind of trades.
I have no clue how high DKNG can go.

Probably won't happen until fall, if at all. The market still defying logic IMO. It feels like they aren't looking far enough ahead, banking real hard on the news from Gilead. Oil up 30%. Travel up too. Think I'm going to start hoarding cash again.

yeah, it’s coming. Q1 earnings are being released now, but they aren’t near as bad as what Q2 will look like

I just don't understand why people think everything will just go back to how it was. A recession is coming. I can't see us going back to the unemployment rates overnight, nor will all businesses survive this. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing in my retirement accounts, but I'll just hoard cash and leave what little I've got in my taxable investments alone. Maybe sell here and there.

im with ya. Market acts irrational at times. Before the pandemic market crash, the market was acting irrational just going straight up despite growth being pretty minimal, and the pandemic already going on in China. It will catch up to the market at some point, IMO. And that’s when I’ll throw the 20% cash I’ve got waiting, back into the market. I did buy a lil more Boeing when it hit down around $124. But overall, waiting on another big drop

“From a technical standpoint, the market seems poised for a pullback again, they argue. The S&P 500 has reached a key 61.8% retracement level, according to Fibonacci analysis, a gauge technical analysts use to predict inflection points.

“As we all know, no market moves in a straight line,” Matthew Maley, chief market strategist at Miller Tabak, said in a note Thursday. “The damage that was done in the first (37%) decline…and the recession that is upon us…could cause another round of selling before too long ... History tells us that the odds of another deep decline are very, very high.”

Also worth noting is that investor darling Amazon experienced an “outside-down” day on Tuesday, where the high for the day is higher than the previous day’s high and the low of the day is below the previous day’s low. The phenomenon often signals an exhaustion of a rally.”
