You gotta have role playing bench players...we're probably going to lose a couple...Thomas, Scal, Butler, Pargo and Lucas are all off the books. Thomas and Butler may come back, and we'd like to add a SG through FA/Trade I'd think...but that still leaves two spots that are going to have to be filled on the flippin' cheap. Get some good young back-ups (Mack, Nolan Smith, possibly Selby, Honeycutt, J. Johnson...)
I just want people to be a little more realistic in their expectations. Mine are always low because I don't feel the need to get caught up in the hype of something that's not going to happen. I've seen this movie and I know how it ends.
The main issue is getting a 2 that can help the Bulls. We don't needs a superstar or a 20 ppg scorer, just someone who score when needed and can defend his position. They also need to not take a huge cap hit in the process so they can still sign Rose, should they go to a hard cap.
I for one never expect us to get anyone good. I don't know why, I just assume we're going to be screwed like the Cubs and never get anyone good or win anything for 100 years. Of course, we had Jordan and have 6 championships which is far better than the Cubs, but still.
I didn't even think we'd get Boozer last year. I literally thought we'd be left in the dust like in 2000 and get screwed over. I have confidence in management to at least make some kind of move, but I don't expect anything better than Courtney Lee.
