oh, because someone who lives an hour from the border can't follow US politics?

like it or not, when Obama fucks up your economy more, it affects mine too. I'd be a fool not to follow.

and am I reminding you when I moved to the states, or telling you when I move to the States? Because I'm likely to move down in a few years once Emma gets her MD, since Doctors in MY country are paid shit.

Yea we could be taxed out the ass like your Country. Worry about your own problems. Something the US should learn.

Obama vs Congress. You can't just lump it all on Obama. Well you can but that would mean you aren't paying attention.

IHF I agree again. Twice in three days. **** off.

Anyone surprised? **** them all.

Nope.

And it wouldnt have mattered WHICH party/President won the last election. It was on this path long before the election. So I suppose the easy way is to place blame on one or the other, but in reality it is ALL OF THEM to blame. NO question.

So I have to cringe when anyone calls out Obama, and or Congress on their own. Those people have no fucking clue and are just as bad as those in the position to do something and aren't.

to tell me to worry about my own problems, or mind my own business is exactly what I am doing. Your countries economy effects my countries too. The Pipeline, NAFTA, Obama shits and it has an effect on Canada.

Just remember folks.........

We do not have a spending problem in the United States. We have a revenue problem.

<

You're right. We shouldn't spend any money on anything. We should just be a lawless group of people roaming the plains without a stable form of commerce, without emergency services, without medical services, and without defense from attack.

Great idea. "Stop public funding of EVERYTHING, it's ruining our country." <---- campaign slogan of IHN

Pete, do you really think one side is more to blame than the other? Do you really think one side is going to do a better job than the other? If so, I have some pet rocks to sell you.

Absolutely not. Read all my posts, not just the cynical ones where I poke fun at the conservatives.

My biggest issues with the Republican voting base is that they are totally against practically every publically funded program yet love to use all of them all day long (kind of like the seniors in Medicare funded scooters offering up their SSN and Medicare cards at a rally), or how they continue to believe that their religion or brand of morality is in any way shape or form followed by people that want to govern them or that it should have any barring on who gets elected and why, or that they actually think that these uber rich career politicians actually give two shits about them as individual people. Like most career politicians, all they care about is getting rich and staying rich and finding a way to benefit from or change legisltation to benefit themselves.

Do both parties in America do that? Of course, but one talks constantly about wanting to cut every last publically funded program (save the military) and the other talks about putting programs and legislation in place to better the country as a whole and its individual communities that need them.

EDIT: Anyone who willingly ignores the fact that GEORGE W BUSH caused most of this debt or that thinks BARRACK H OBAMA can magically fix it in three years is quite frankly out of their fucking mind. More so, anyone who blames Obama and the Democrats is conveniently turning a blind eye to all of the acts of political obstruction that the Republicans are employing daily. It's not like it hasn't been in the fucking news or in social media or in political satire over and over and over and over again.

NAFTA. The only one that fucks is the US. NO question!

Congress must then effect you as well. Shame you can't vote. To put the blame Solely on Obama, as you did, is ignorant.

I didn't put the blame soley on Obama. What I did say though, is that he made a whole shitload of promises during the election, and in trying to stay BiPartison he has either not done them, or done some fucked up combination (Obamacare)

I am aware that Congress is fucked, and both parties are fucked blah blah blah

Obama is still fucked though.

Get off your high horse RK. I'm entitled to my own opinion on here. Like it or not, I don't give a ****.

sad part is, I probably know more about the politics in your country than a shitload of Americans do. If you wanna make browsing/responding to the NHTA forum to be based on citizenship, fine by me. I'll be posting in here until you do though.

yup. everyone loves not being able to get a choice on their health care. we also love paying out the ass so an immigrants elderly family members who never have and never will seek employment in our country get the "free" health care and pension that we work our asses off for.

yes, people like our health care, but it's a serious problem when a highschool teacher in my provence gets paid about 5k per year less than a family doctor. How does that make sense?

People like your health care so much, that those that can afford it come to the US for serious care.

I have no high horse Rex, have your opinion, just as I have one on the "Canadian System" but you won't see me telling a bunch of Canadians all about it. It's none of my concern really.

Obama is fucked just like ANY President who was elected was. It was a for gone conclusion. The path was set. Did it become worse, I don't know the situation was pretty fucked already thanks to the Mortgage and Banking industries. On top of two needless, and unwarranted POLICE ACTIONS!

High horse... You are quite aware I don't give a ****.... LOL!

I am, and you are aware that I have never given one either. perhaps that is why we get along until we don't.

as for me sharing my opinion with a bunch of Americans...meh, again don't care. I have my opinion and if I care to share it, I will do so. You didn't once hear me claim to like Canada's health care system though. And you would likely voice your opinion on it had there been a thread about it in NHTA, but there wasn't. Either way, again, don't give a **** lol. This site has 3 Canadians that post quite often, and as anyone will tell you, I'm likely the one who will flap his gums about his opinion the most.

you and I, we are both opinionated assholes, but I'm good looking
