I am aware but chose to bang the drum on that big point. What it will actually do though is increase the amount the super rich pay on their very large earnings. There-by increasing the amount of cash taken in by the government. A big reason the debt grew so fast as opposed to just grew a bit is because Bush reduced the amount of money coming in. Otherwise the debt would still be in the much more managable 3-4 tril$ range.

Sure, but what about the money that will need to infused back into programs that are going to get a reduction from this? The funny thing is I bet that the money that will come from the ultra rich will not help infuse the programs like medicare that will lose out, or help those in the middle from dropping lower since they will need to offset the infusion still.



Would be better for Obama to try many in his cabinet for helping to create this mess and skim the money from them along with a legit and transparent plan at deficit reduction.

Per status quo: all politicians are self serving scum...or so it would seem.

I wish social security funds and other program's funds were never borrowed from. That is a major reason that many are underfunded. I can only hope that honorable things are done with the money once the IRS collects it and it goes over to Treasury.
