We grabbed a one way rental car and drove back to San Antonio. Im in my house.

We drug a lure on sunday but my priority this trip was learning the new boat and keeping an eye on the crew. We will do a lot more in the future

I dunno, I think I might be scared/nervous watching the horizon fade into nothingness. The ocean is interesting to me, but I'm not sure I ever want to be in the middle of it on a boat.

Oh man that is awesome SERE. I remember you had been wanting to do this for years. Its great to see you've done it. Wish you guys nothing but the best and safe travels. I can imagine how nerve racking it must be having to dock around boats that are worth ridiculous sums of money. Then again I imagine there is insurance involved for things like this? I don't know, I have **** all knowledge when it comes to boating.

X- thanks buddy. We pulled the trigger 2 years earlier than planned. I really wanted my dad to be a part of this and he is 75 with a few issues so waiting seemed like a bad idea. We will have to budget everything for the next couple years but sharing this with him was incredible and He is already buying things to improve the boat and planning his next trip to sail with us... he is so stoked. So we will live a little tighter and not eat out... totally worth it!


Nvan & 51 , yeah I taught SERE and actually taught at our water survival & dunker training for a few years too. I have a particular set of skills haha. My goal is to never be a story that is used during our training... I dont want to be an example, good or bad!

Yeah man, I'm glad for you guys. I know buying that mamma jamma had to have been one of the most exciting things you've done. I know it sounds cheeseball as **** but there is something uniquely satisfying about achieving a major goal in life. Sounds to me like you knocked off a huge check mark from the bucket list.
