There's a new update to Tapatalk. Does it have a million problems like the last one?

I downloaded the new update. It's a lot better than the last one, but it still crashed on me. However, it's only crashed on me once so far, and I've used it several times. The last update crashed on me almost every single time I used it. So far, it's better than the last one.

Also just updated to the newest version of Tapatalk for the forum. All tests show good, but user end clients... I still can't help what tapatalk does with their app. I hope this might solve a few issues.

For some reason, all of my Tapatalk notifications are gone. Only for this forum too.

Is this a problem on your end or is it Tapatalk's problem?

I had to reset the notification cache with the new update. After a day of running, the error log was filling up quick with mismatched requests.

It's not working? I'll look into it.

This is a clean install of the tapatalk api. Nothing modified.

Here's another little issue with Tapatalk I'll just put here. It's with the notifications. In the settings you can check to be notified when sent a private message, quoted my post, or mentioned me. Now, with all 3 checked it never did notify when mentioned me but did notify for the other 2 until recently and now it just notifies for PMs even though all 3 are still checked. No big deal but just wondering if I'm missing something. The app is up to date.

About time. It seems like ever since that November 2014 update, tapatalk has basically shoved it's users to the side. Hopefully this is more than just throwing a dog a bone, because the way the plugin and api are written, website owners have less control over editing the code than we did a few years ago.

The client settings are out of our control. Tapatalk does lack features and optimization while having periodic issues with design.

Yeah, I don't like the settings. Tapatalk 5 is a newer release now, and maybe some features will come out in an update?
