I can't use Tapatalk as of today. It keeps crashing on me whenever I try to access the forums. It was working fine yesterday. I sent a crash report if that helps.

That's between the app and the user. I tried some workarounds to make tapatalk better, but other than that, the plugin and how it runs on your devices is out of my hands.

You could try clearing app cache.

Also, a Tapatalk alternative. It's a work in progress, but some users like it better than the recent Tapatalk update.

Is there a good alternative for iOS? I know ForumRunner used to be okay, but that went to hell in a handbasket as well.

I've never tried anything other than Tapatalk. Do you know if there's a way I can restore the old version of it?

Apparently you can restore old versions through itunes. How? I don't know. I don't use iDevices.

Also, from what I understand, the Tapatalk team is feeling a lot of pressure over recent changes, and they are working to fix the apps. IDK how much will get fixed, but we'll see.

Nothing that I'm aware of. I didn't download an update, nor did I do anything to my phone. Yesterday, I would open the app, but it would continually crash whenever I tried to access the forums. I tried it multiple times with the same result. Today, it just works.

My tapatalk is getting that "Failed to connect forum, Please check with Forum Administration if problem persists."

I started getting this on Super Bowl Sunday during the outage, but clearly the site is back up here. So what's up with Tapatalk?

I just tried it right now, and it works fine for me. I'm using it on iphone.

I can't recreate any issue. Try the usual clear app cache.
