Two days ago I did a fresh tapatalk install(forumside). So whatever it is, I have no idea. It runs great for me on mobile devices.

I don't want to ignore the problem, but without more information, I don't know what to look for. Even the tapatalk support forums are impossible to find information on troubleshooting. The closest one that I came across, that MIGHT explain anything, is that Tapatalk's own cache servers on their side, are having issues with some sites.

The Tuesday practice thread in the Bears forum is crashing mine. Pages 1 and 4 load fine but 2 and 3 freeze up and crash when loading. I have mine set to 20 posts per page. So something in the 21 to 40 and 41 to 60 range is giving me issues I guess. I dunno

Just updated TAPATALK.

If you have any issues, you may need to refresh cache. All though the change-log doesn't specify anything that would merit a needed refresh. The new version only fixes:

Support for smartbanner on/off display switch
Removed app links from user online status icons on the online users page
Fixed "banned user group incorrect" issue (vb3x)
Support for default values in custom registration fields
Optimized app welcome page and smart-banner to automatically add the referring forum to a user's forums list
Support for page and per-page parameters in Google deep link URLs to aid in fixing future "Content Mismatch Errors"

Second, what do you mean? The new Tapatalk version on your device, or the plugin on the site? I'm not having issues when I test it, so I need more info.

I had to turn off feed as my default login during the last tapatalk update that caused me problems

I have a phone that isn't for a poor person so I just use the site as normal in full mode.

If anyone has trouble finding the subforums
In the middle it says chi city sports with a down arrow, click it and all the subforums will be there.

Do you have a taptalk registration besides your ccs? WIth the update that came out about a month ago on Android the site is basically unusable. I can only see activity but no forums or subforums anymore. But perhaps I need to get a taptalk ID for that to work...???

I never updated the app on my phone. But because I have more things to look at than the app can show, I just use the regular site. When I get around to it, I'll mess with the app and see if theres a way to make it more usable by default. I had no idea this issue existed. But in case I can't recreate the issue, any helpful information is appreciated.

A few days after the IHN merger, I installed a better default mobile theme to use in a browser. It's actually pretty sweet.


*edit* I made a very minor tweak. IDK if that helps. Otherwise it's an issue with the default settings on the device app.

I agree 100%. They made an update and now it just doesn;t function well on an android phone. It works fine on my ipad

Tapatalk is shit now. Sorry, it was so much easier to navigate before. Now, it works when it wants to. Also, The site itself gives me problem from time to time.

I use this, and it makes tapatalk way better. YMMV

Right now, I can only offer two alternatives. Rollback to a better version of tapatalk, since they decided to be shitheads IMO about how they try to monetize content off their app. Or use browsermode with Mobile Premium theme.
