So Kruger will be moved to second line center. god I wish they had a potential second line center that could keep up with Kane's line that is just waiting for an opportunity to play without screwing aroud with their set lines. If only they had a player who has proven everything he could at the AHL level and simply needs time at the NHL level to see if he can stick. Oh well, the search continues....

Sarcasm aside, I'm actually interested to see what Kruger can do.

I know you were being sarcastic... but can't wait for Teravainen to make the club next year.

Right but that's next season. In the meantime, why the hell not try Pirri? Has Kane even scored a goal with Handzus on the ice at the same time? The guy's a fucking anchor on that line. I know Kane's put at least one or two on a silver platter for Handzus, but that's about it. Kruger is better by default than Handzus on that line, but then you (slightly) risk throwing off the 4th line, which has played very well.

I just don't get it. There's nothing for them to lose in playing Pirri.

Exactly... there is something serious going on behind the scenes with Morin and Pirri... because there's no reason Handzus or Bollig should be playing before either of them.

So aggravating.

I think Kruger deserves the shot on the second line. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if him and Kane click well.

Also... Kind of an interesting stat:

Bollig is on pace for just under 20 points this season.

Bollig has been too busy keeping the other teams honest to score big points. Montreal is taking lots of cheap shots and I imagine there is going to be some retaliation. 74 just ran Kane along the boards elbow to head first then a tripping against Steeg. Looks like Steeg is gonna fight Gallagher over it.

Handzus isn't going anywhere, he's Hossa's guy. Bollig is by default the team enforcer, he isn't going anywhere. I agree though, playing Pirri is a no lose situation. The best reason I can think of not to bring up Pirri is that maybe you don't want to **** with the lineup when the team is clearly not broken. This Cherry guy on the intermission is ridiculous, if he was anymore flamboyant Elton John would tell him to tone it down.

Emelin isn't much of a fighter. Especially since he has a steel plate in his head.

He just took another run at Kane and finished with an elbow to the head. Luckily Bollig is out there now.

And another stupid penalty by the Hawks, Zus for tripping. We need our guys to start checking, where is Shaw? Bickell? Bollig?

Not a tough power play to defend against when they just dump the puck in and not chase after it.
