My favorite teams
At least is wasn’t the packer or NFC north team
In exchange for Clowney, the Seahawks will be sending Barkevious Mingo, Jacob Martin and a 2020 third-round draft pick to Houston
And they have to pay him......not sure if he is elite on his on or was he helped by Watt.On the surface it seems like the Seahawks gave up a lot
Good point. And they have to pay him......not sure if he is elite on his on or was he helped by Watt.
Yes it seems watt has been injured a bit more missing 24 games in the last 3 years (none last season)Good point.
I could be wrong and I know injuries have played a role, but Clowney & Watt haven't seemed as dominant in recent yrs.

bamainatlanta, Thanks for the additional info.Mingo was going to be cut, Martin is a bit player and the 3rd rounder can be recouped via a comp pick if he walks. Also, the Texans ate $7million of his salary. It was one of the worst trades of all time for Houston.

@ijustposthere.....That's why I said "On the surface it seems like the Seahawks gave up a lot". I purposely avoided being absolute with my comment, since I didn't have all the info.
I went over to the Texans MB and saw a poll where almost no one was in favor of trading Clowney . Based on the poll, it seems the trade was very unpopular in Houston.
