I have to ask. How come some snow always cause havoc over there? Surely the areas that are expected to have ice and snow during the winter should be prepared for it with salting, plowing and sanding roads and drivers competent to handle slippery roads?

To many cars on the streets of Chicago. Congested roadways are a way of life here, put a little snow or ice on them and it goes from bad to worse.

Fast paced game, lots of coast to coast action. Saad I thought had a strong game. Crawford had a couple of sweet saves, a good return game. But the team D was lacking and lost possession too much and in the offensive zone they were trying to be too cute and didn't have a body in front of the net to whack in the garbage. I don't know if the were still digesting all the Xmas food or what, but need to improve for next game. At least a point, but should have got 2 against the crappy Islanders. Again a case of playing down to your opponents level for the Hawks? Although NYI is a fast team and those usually cause trouble for the Hawks.

Giving them 2 points? Double loss.

Who cares if they get two points. Doesn't effect us one bit.

4-11 on the Island. I don't care how bad they are, or how good we are or have been, we don't ever play well there.
