Well, 19 of his 41pts are on the PP
I dont really think he's a good defensive center, which is why I think it's better to have Hossa on his wing - more than Kane. It helps compensate for his shortcomings in his own zone. (not bagging Sharp, he's playing out of position at center...but he's the best/only option for the second line)
