Worthless saps around these boards, no GDT and it is 1 PM on gameday.

I will be in attendance, first game of the year.

Would enjoy seeing a nice 3-1 victory with a few scraps. The last time I saw the Rangers at the UC, it was Sharps first game as a Hawks and we won the game in OT on an Arnason goal.

I wasn't home unfortunately, or I would have done it.

I had issues Downtown to take care of.

Trying to be too cutesy with all that fancy passing. Not good enough. Again a game where they allowed the other team to get a lot of shots on goal. Q finally took Handzus off the Kane line, but still thought Kane didn't stand out as much as he did during his hot streak. These two days between games thing is making the Hawks soft, they were better when playing every other day.

Exactly. What was with all the little pussy passes tonight? What happened to hard, crisp passes? Sure as **** hope these guys don't think they have already won the cup.

+180 ? Does that mean you had to bet 100.00 to win 180.00 ?

By the way how are the legalized goat brothels treating you?

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Crawford looked bad in the 1st. Even though the so-called "expetrs said the 2nd goal was the weakest, I think the 1st was. Had he got down in the butterfly that would have been stopped rather than keeping his legs open like Lady Gaga. The 2nd one, he caught the puck with his toe on the wrap-around, which bounced off of the inside of his blocker and in. He should have had it, but it was more pinball physics than a complete misplay.

Saad had one of his weakest games in recent memory. Puck Control was a foreign concept to him.

Zeus was weak as well.

I thougth Kruger looked really good with Kane and Steeger. Hopefully Q gives that line more of a look.

But ultimately, Bollig sniped one hell of a shot, so my argument is invalid.

Yep and if it was -180 that means they are the favorite and I would need to bet $180 to win $100.

I think the thing that upset me so much about this game is that the 'hawks we saw on the ice looked like less than the quotient of their constituent parts.

We just didn't come out to play. They know it and right now it should light a fire under their asses because since the Islanders game a week ago we have had the same lackluster play. Somehow we are 1-1-2, but our opponents are jacked up for games against us, and when we are not responsive it leads to crappy hockey, and a bunch of shootout losses. We got our asses handed to us a month ago on HNIC against the Leafs, so I am really hoping we can play our balls off on saturday in Montreal.

Also, I know it is a long season and this is a down stretch. But they should nip this in the butt pretty quick, cause the Blues and rest of the Western Conference are still playing out of their minds.

I agree. I thought Kruger looked good, in general Toews lookjed good and Bollig looked good. It seemed just about everyone else was either completely null or was dragging them down until the "oh shit!" factor kicked in with minutes left.

Again, I'm not panicking at all, and know we'll right the ship, but it's still a jagged, bitter pill to take.
