Haha didn't the Hawks have a 9 game losing streak in February the first year they won the Cup?

If crawford starts like he finished we win the game. He didn't, we lost. move on.

Good for them to hit some adversity before the 2nd round of the NHL Playoo

Last night ended a 10-game point streak, with several of the games seeing the Hawks play flat.

I'm not nearly as worried about a team not firing on all cylinders in January as I would be if it were April.

St. Louis is 8-1-1 in last 10, with a 6 game win streak. i got to imagine that much like when the hawks get hot they will cool down eventually too.

The Blues always peak early, then sputter to the finish line. Until they do otherwise, no reason to believe this doesn't happen again.

EVERY TEAM DOESNT WIN OR LOSE EVERY GAME (UNLESS THEY ARE THE SABRES)

BAD TEAMS BEAT GOOD TEAMS

GOOD TEAMS BEAT THE BEST TEAMS

THE BEST TEAMS LOSE TO THE BAD TEAMS

All that matters are the 7 game series in April/May/June...

Blues have never won the Cup. I'd call that peaking too early. Hawks peaked just about right in 2010 & 2013.

So what you're saying is that the bad teams always win?

Thats because Luongo was riding the high of the "biggest victory" in his career, even with the Gold Medal, by defeating us in OT in game 7.

the team really needs to play better, Crow let in two bad goals (second was a flukey goal) but the team needs to play like they do when Raanta is in net.

Here's something I just put on NHL.com which is worth a read:

In the 3 games Crawford has played since his return, the Hawks have scored 6 goals. Crow's record in that time is 0-1-2 with a 2.55 GAA and a .925 SV%

in the last 3 games Raanta has played the team has scored 11 goals and Raantas record was 2-0-1 with a 3.00GAA and a .897 SV%

yet everyone is talking about how terrible Crawford has been since his return, and that Raanta has been better?

yet everyone is talking about how terrible Crawford has been since his return, and to go with Raanta?

Uh who is saying Crawford has been horrible?

I mean I know I have been sleeping with trannies in Vegas all week but I still managed to watch the games (and win $180, thanks Rangers).

Gotta love the internet, where brand new bandwagon fans have just as loud a voice as the experts do.

It happens. Last year the Hawks breezed through the short season. They didn't face ANY adversity until the 2nd round, where they almost lost to the 8th seed in the Conference. They were #1 from the start to finish of the season. Adversity during the season is a very good thing. It means they must overcome, adapt, change, and realize their short comings during games or even stretches of games. There is NOTHING wrong with not being "the best" team all year long, and or losing games. The season is 82 fucking games for a reason.

Crawford gave up 2 bad goals and to that point in the game was not very good. From that time on, the rest of the game, he was ON! It happens. To the best teams.

What matters is what team has what it takes to beat this team in a 7 game series. To this point NOTHING says there is one. yea I know we have yet to beat the Blues, OK, first game we lost with 2 minutes left and the last two, having the lead, we lost in the Shoot Out. Those don't count in the playoffs.

Hawks are still the team to beat and Crawford is NO QUESTION the #1 goal tender. If it were me RAANTA would be playing EVERY GAME in Rockford and Labarber would be sitting on the bench, not playing, or developing his game..
