Awesome! The Hawks feed, thanks

Bookmark that, he has all the games.

Also, AWESOME news on the Bobby and Stan statues, I wonder if they're going to be across the UC from Jordan?

I just threw a separate thread up about the statue. Should be good discussion.

So what the hell happened at the end? Pat was pretty funny about it though, "Get on the bus, boys. You lost. Where were you half way through the game when it still mattered?"

LOL

For the record I feel really bad for any player that gets banished to the Isle.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Fire

  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Hawks needed one of these. Crawford absolutely earned the shutout.

While the outcome was never in doubt, the whitewash was no sure thing.

These lineups should be what is iced the rest of the season.

Weird seeing the crowd leave early.

Need to stay on a roll.

Time to exact some revenge on the Avs!

One of the Hacks cross checked Hendry and then shoved him after the whistle blew. Hendry had enough. Then he sucker puched Hendry several times and the Hawks on the ice rushed over. Then the Hack Konopka tried, already having taking several cheap shots on Toews during the first period.

Good game for the Hawks. Crawford made an early AWESOME save and from there the ass kicking was on. Still not sure about Seabrook on the point as he had some issues there but hey, they got a PP goal.

WE KILLED A FUCKING PENALTY HOLY SHIT! 100% on the PK, although they only called one haha.

Fun time at the UC. Only down fall is Mcdonough of course was in the 61 Champions pictures. I'm sure Rocky was a little kid in 61 and around but John being in that picture of course taints it.

Oh and met Kerry Wood tonight. Seems like a great guy.

Thanks for the info Ron. Glad you met my 'brother' Kerry. Not so long ago, when I was still in Army condition, I looked very much like a shorter version of Woody. He is my favorite baseball player and I can't tell you how stoked I am that he is back!

Very down to earth guy. I of course am not a huge baseball fan, but he was just a normal joe at the game.

Great game...but to inject some Magic Johnson level of positivity <groan>

Can Keith possibly go a single game this year without a pass to nowhere or a giveaway?

Great win and wow the energy was certainly felt waaaaaaay over here. I applaud the fans tonight too sounded like a great crowd.

BUT......it's the Islanders. I expect the Hawks to take a win from them. HOWEVER....they domintated the entire game and that's not easy to do against any team. I am proud of that performance. Team looks great whn they are healthy. LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY. Not one player played a bad game and boy did they look like a team again. Q's lines were perfect also and he ran his bench to perfection. NICE!!!!

Crawford congrats on the first shut out of the year. Some HUGE saves that game. Not a whole lot of challenges as the defense was good as gold but boy oh boy when he needed to make the big save he did. Not easy to do when you aren't facing a lot of rubber.

Crawford is going to have a stellar career at this level. Something about him I can't put my finger on. We may once again have an all star goalie that was groomed from within. Been a long long long long time. We deserve it.

Great game Hawks.

Like to see them tighten up a bit. Those odd man rushes on turnovers are getting old. Otherwise they dominated that game.

But, that Islanders team was 4-0-1 on their road trip and had won 7 out of 9 games. Including beating the Penguins, Redwings and Avalach.

Just saying......

DON'T YOU START WITH ME RK!!! LOL

I'm not taking anything away from how the Hawks played they were fantastic. I still expect them to beat teams like the Islanders though.

As for the Islanders being 4-0-1 on their road trip. How nice for Islanders but I don't give a poop lol. Lets look at who they beat and how they did it on that 4-0-1 trip.

Pens = Won in a shout out

Detroit = Won in OT

Calgary = Beat in regulation

Edmonton = Lost

Colorado = Beat in OT

I know a wins a win but the Islanders didn't dominate anyone on that 4-0-1 trip besides the Flames and they lost to the Oilers. I am not impressed with any team that dominates the Flames (still hard to believe the Flames whooped up earlier on). Islanders easily could have been 1-0-4 on the trip before meeting us. Still though going 4-0-1 on the road is a damn fine achievement for any team, I will give you that. And beating the likes of Detroit and the Pens even if it takes extra time and/or a shoot out is still solid. But I still don't give a poop lol. Hawks should be beating teams like the Islanders, we are the better team.

Like I saod though Hawks looked like hot shit last night that way of playing they could have beaten any team. They looked fucking fantastic.

I could go with the fact that I've never heard of that goalie before. Then again, I've never heard of most of those Isles players last night.

I'm not taking it away from the Hawks this time... The Hawks beat a team with a recent hot streak and nothing to play for (even though they're only around 4-5 games behind the 8th spot out East), and those teams are probably the most dangerous in the league.

I'm just glad the Hawks took care of that last night.
