Won't read it just on that point alone. The guy can go **** off.

One game scheduled in 9 games is pretty fucked.

Thanks NHL for douching up the schedule. Last year 20 gams in 30 nights. so far this year 4 games in 16 nights.

FWIW, Jaeckel didn't write the actual blog post---Mass was talking about him piping up in the comments.

I would think a Norris trophy winning Dman's game wouldnt drop as much as it has, based on who he's playing with. It's his poor decisions with the puck at times that looks bad, not his partner.

Agreed. Keith's form is looking more 2010-11 Keith than anything right now and that's on Keith IMO. He played poorly last year with both Biscuit and Leddy and though more rarely IMO, also played well with them some games. Whatever it is, I hope he gets his confidence and mojo back such that he can excel in any tandem on the regular. I just assumed he'd feed off his VAN series turnaround and that coupled with the 5 months off would make it easier for him to round to form. . .but you know what they say about assuming, LOL!!

And his sudden lack of skating fundamentals.

It's a good article. Worth the read... I just thought it was funny that Jackel was trolling around and had to post a comment to disagree with the guy. Now we know for sure where he gets his source materials, random blogs.

I look at it this way, Hammer and Seabrook are more similar than anyone one else back there. Keith and Leddy are most similar. Keith and Seabs are the best pair around... so why not have 2 of them. Sure Leddy and Hammer won't be keith and seabs, but a baby top line that is young and will grown strong together... well that sounds familiar.

As i recall things, could be wrong, the worse hockey we've ever seen Kieth play was the first couple of months of last season, when Leddy was in Rockford.

Yes, Keith and Seabs is an awesome pair, but i'm good with leddy keith for right now. I think one of the attractions about that pairing is that brass does not feel comfortable with Leddy out there yet, but they want him to get minutes to speed his development. They like Keith's speed and defense to cover Leddy's mistakes. Once Q is comfy with Leddy, i think he won't be paired with Keith nearly as much. Just a hunch tho.

Since Keith signed a mega huge contract he has not been the same defensemen who won the NOrris no matter who is partner is. Toward the end of last year he claimed a hangover and lack of motivation after winning the Cup. Whatever the reason, he's not the same guy.

except in the Van series he was only really good in game 4 and 5, by game 7 he was in mid season form again. It was like "Seabs is back, **** this shit"

True but it was lovely seeing the turnaround, however brief it was, LOL! It was absolutely needed at the exact time the Hawks got it like Bolland coming back to be a holy menace. That gave me more hope for the new season because I knew he'd have a longass offseason to get prepared for setting his Give-A-Shit-O-Meter dial on high on a consistent if not permanent basis, heh. So far, not so much with the dial turning. . .BUT acknowledging we're only 4 games in an 82-game season.

I've always noticed that people just play better when Bolland is out there. I don't know what it is. Put Bickell and Frolik on a line with Bolland, and all of a sudden they are both throwing big hits. I think Bolland should be wearing the A over Sharp.

You know, he's been the below average Keith ever since that shit came out in regards to him not being able to find skates that fit him right...

Well I especially loved the hilarity of the game screen captures---both the captions like, "Sharp??" and "Brunette ??" where there's no bodies to be seen but best of all was the pic of Sharp-Toews-Brunnette all standing in a straight line in their own end and offering not an iota of Forward support to the D. It's brutal but still hysterical the way their bodies are highlighted by the red rectangle, LOL.

Yes, Smith was reassigned to Rockford yesterday.

Yes, the Wolves became VAN's AHL affiliate this past summer when the ThrashJETS new ownership (True North) went with another AHL affiliate to play their prospects with. Now the Wolves roster is presumably chock full of Baby Canucks and the greater Chicago metropolitan area can feast their hockey-lovin' eyes on VAN's appallingly weak and habitually ranked 28th-30th prospects pool in living color! Heh.
