Well, that was a rather boring period. Seemed like both teams played at half-speed. It doesn't help when they have the crowd noise so low it seems like they are playing in a morgue.

I have a bad feeling they will be shut out. Blues are going to clamp it down.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!??!?!?!?!

That was almost as bad as the no goal call the other night... I hope Scott goes out and ends someone's season. Fucking typical hack team smacks Kopecky right in the mouth RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BLIND ASS REF and no call.

They've been taking liberties all night and Kopecky gets sucker punched right in front of the dumb ref, Polak, and nothing is called. Go hurt someone Scott and earn your paycheck.

The Hawks beat the REFS and the HACKS! Double win!

Patrick Kane's vision on the ice is so fucking incredible... what a damn pass!

You can thank Hossa and Turco alone for this win. Oh wait, Turco is a sieve and we're all gonna hear "i told ya so"

EDIT: Oh yea... good job "almost" forfeiting your cheapass paycheck Rodgers.

Obviously Scott didn't intimidate Brewer. He took a run at Hossa and was the one punching Kopecky. Fuckin Bullshit.

Nobody will fight Scott because they're all scared of getting their face rearranged. Did you noticed after Scott and Winchester had it out before a faceoff how Scott got in Winchester's face and said player was LITERALLY invisible for the rest of the game?

I don't believe Scott was on the ice when Hossa got run by Brewer.

Scott kept the Hacks in check for the most part whenever he was out there. The Hacks take cheapshots then cower in fear when Scott is out there, priceless.

EDIT: Scott had 6 shifts for 2:29... what great management by Q. Getting Scott out there in the most perfect spots.

Who is #5 and what did they do with Cullisuck? Thats 2/3 games he was servicable in an NHL game.

Marian fucking Hossa is a stud.

Turco gets his 1st point and keeps us in the game (deserved the 3rd star IMO).

Sharpie with another game winner.

Blues (Have no Clue) leave the ice with puppy dog eyes and their tails between their legs.

Another very satisfying win.

Bring on the Casucks and that golf club logo.

Edit: Looks like Turco is not credited an assist on Hossa's 1st goal.

Our defense looked like shit, again. ESPECIALLY Seabrook and Keith. Seabrook was a fucking pylon out there tonight. Not only was he a pylon, he was a turnover machine. Blind pass after blind pass. I thought he and Cullimore switched jerseys... Keith has to get his head out of his ass and stop turning the puck over too. Those two were garbage aside from one or two shifts. Hossa is literally carrying this team on his back. He's just amazing.

LEAVE THE LINES ALONE Q. There is no reason at all to break up Kopecky/Toews/Hossa. None. Sharp and Kane have been working it together too. STOP FUCKING WITH SHIT.

John Scott should never play in a Hawks jersey again. I've seen enough.

lol homer, if anything it should've been off setting penalties, 2 on Polak for roughing and 2 on Kopecky for slashing Halak. Last I checked your not allowed to stand there and take swings at teh goalie when the puck isn't even in the zone anymore.

Give kudos to the ref who recognized that Kopecky honestly thought the puck was there and also recognizing that Polack has to stand up for his goalie there and therefore let the play slide. Solid level headed decision by the ref to let them play on there.

Stu, please. How many shifts did he even play?? One a period???? He had less than 3 minutes of ice time.

How does a player keep anyone in check from the bench??? Please explain that to me.

Seabrook has pretty much been a pylon all season, no idea what's wrong with him.

Overall boring game with about 10 minutes of excitement. Hell of a win by the hawks, wins like tonight and saturday against the sabres will go a long way towards building chemistry with the new guys.

Hossa is a man amongst boys right now. Sharpie just always seems to find the back of the net at big times. Turco played a great game and is quickly silencing doubters, although the first goal was very weak.

Boynton looked terrible again, my patience is wearing thin with that guy back there. The rest of the D continues to turn the puck over way too much IMO.

On a side note, I could see us getting REALLY sick of playing Halak 6 times a year.
