After 2 periods our PP is terrible. Our coach is an idiot and I can not stand the Stalberg/Toews/Brunette line. I would rather watch the 4th line play to be honest. Toews looks pissed off every shift and I don't blame him one bit.

This better be a dominating 3rd period.

Ugly game, that shit won't work against the preds. I'll take the 2 points though.

def questionable first 2 periods again. and waaaaay too many lazy penalties. 3rd period was okay. Emery played well. Leddy probably is the unsung hero for the night in my opinion and it was a good time for stalberg to get a pair for sure.

Kane had a rough one (i am never going to be comfy with him at center) and despite the 3rd period by the Toews line I still can't stand it.

did see a few different things on some of our powerplays. a couple powerplays had some great shifts..just gotta finish those. Our PK was once again impressive.

I would have liked to see a better full 60 minutes but the 2 points is all that matters right now.

hope toews is okay and nothing swells up on him through the night. just because a player returns to a shift doesn't mean he isn't hurt. esp if that guys name is toews. he took that boarding pretty awkward.

F'n odd ass game to say the least. Seriously, I cannot think of any other team that had a game where 4 goals were waived off. Nevermind the officiating for both teams. TCD's sig seems normal compared to tonight.

Sounds like I missed an interesting game. For the first time the Hawks were supposed to be on but they bumped it for the UFC. I am a happy camper either way. Stalberg on a line with Johnny T? wtf? Is TCD coming up with these lines?

The hawks are 2-0 with Emery in net, lets hope that success continues. Those points we get without having to play Crawford are going to be huge over the course of the year

Q Kane is not a LW. Please Knock it the **** off.

TYVM.

Oh and John Scott should never see the ice again. Wait after he blew coverage he never saw the ice again.

Oh and the officials, blew ass.

Lepisto had a great game IMO.

Keith, not so great. How many GA's was he credited with? I counted four.

Q has Seabrook/Hjarlmarsson running as the top pair. What does that say?

What a goofy game, should have been 7-2.

Stalberg looked really good tonight, have to give credit where credit is due. He plays like that the rest of the season he'll be just fine, lets hope he had an epiphany tonight.

I think every one of those no goals was legit. Least they got them right. As for the hooking and interference not called on the Jackets, that's another discussion.

Kanes was close, Sharps was a goal -- bullshit high stick was called, the BJ lifted Bickells stick into his own face. Bollands was a no-goal. Should have been 6-2 or 7-2.

Well Troy and John disagree with you and after just watching all up close I do to, stick was high (far to close to overturn the on ice decision), it was still Bickells stick no matter how it happened, and Bolland kicked it in. All were no goals.

And the BJ on Bickells HS was Wiz. They were jawing back and forth a few shifts after the penalty was served. I agree with you Tony but it was still his stick. That was the goofiest of them all IMO.

I'm just glad you were right. For awhile there it was ANYONES game! Stalberg lifted the team. Good for him, now he needs to keep it up. From Goat to Hero.

BJ's are a lost team, it was up in the air for a bit but if we couldn't pull ahead I would have been surprised.

For a majority of the game we had control, Emery needs to control his rebounds because the chances certainly were there but the Hawks did a nice job of boxing the BJ's out. The only times they capitalized was due to poor rebound control. Otherwise, their chances weren't really that great. This isn't a knock on Emery, I like him a lot, but if he can limit the rebound chances he's going to be one helluva back-up for Crawford.

I felt bad for York.. first pro start and he gets shellacked by the Hawks and unfortunately for him, had a very uninspired BJ's team in front of him. All things considered, he did a good job for them. Can't blame him when we hurled nearly 40 shots at him, a good majority were prime chances too.

6-2-2... not a bad start to the season especially with Q trying to find line combos for the team.

York was a rebound machine.

better control those or it's going to be a quick visit to the NHL.

2-2 in the 3rd I'm not sure how much they controlled it or not.

Jackets are a lost team no doubt.

It didn't look like an easy game despite what the numbers might say. Hawks are still far from firing on all cylinders and at times it looks like a really sloppy team that has no business winning games. For them to have collected 14 out 20 points is a testament that they are a sleeping beast. The PP is just abysmal and I don't know what they could do to improve it. It's an integral part of the game and often the difference between winning and losing, so they better sort that shit out ASAP.

That's the best part. 6-2-2 and yet to have a complete game say for Pheonix.
