Thanks, man...we did see some rain but we arrived just after the heavy stuff left. Just got home without hitting Bambi too. The game was just WEIRD! We were dominant yet sloppy and at times complacent...which makes no sense but like I said, weird game. We give up zero shots in the first but messed up connecting on a lot of easy passes. Probably 5 times we iced the puck when we had no pressure on us, including the one that led to Tampa's first goal.

On the 2nd goal Corey was literally standing on the goal line. If he on the top of his crease where he belongs, that shot hits him.

Good to have some days off...before we visit the Blues fresh off scoring a touchdown vs Florida tonite.

You weren't kidding... I'm not used to games that weird.....I'm just glad we got a point out of it.

LOL! I think Toews has scored that shot on 50% of the goal tenders he's faced. The shoot out is a joke no matter what.

Yeah Toews always does the patented 5 hole that goes in most of the time. He oughta just point to the 5 hole. Everybody knows he's going there, crazy part is he gets it most of the time.

All I know is our PK needs to stop being poop

He didn't do that against the Caps in preseason. Bishop looked like a sieve in warm ups.

Two games in is way to early to even worry about the PP and or PK. Especially when those two games were 3 days apart.

The only thing I don't get from last night was Q calling the timeout when he did. Just seemed odd

It was on an icing so I get it. They had been out there for a shift already.

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought they were only out ther for 15-20 sec. But, yea, that would make some sense.

What the hell is up with this scheduling?

3 games in 10 days to start the season in an Olympic shortened year?

The Hawks must have some nasty stretches coming up.

Is it possible the braintrust didn't want to compete with MLB playoffs, NFL and not to forget the NBA preseason.

We had just iced the puck with tired players on the ice. It was at least the 5th time that game we puked up an icing when there was no pressure on the puker. It finally bit us in the ass.

So far the PP passes the eye test, at least compared to last year. The players and the puck are moving a lot more, they're acquiring and keeping the zone better than they did last year. And the second unit looked really good.

Now if QStache would just take Sharp off the point and set himn up down near the left circle where he could unleash his one-timer, everything would be jake.
