Their hearts aren't into it this year, they'll be lucky to make the playoffs and can look at this game as the reason why.

And for those committing suicide after this game, its Dallas. They've always given us problems, no matter how good or bad they are. I'm not mad about it. It's Dallas, I was hoping for a blowout, but I wasn't expecting it, either.
I will, however have the cable ready for my own home opener --- against Winnipeg next Thursday.

Hossa looked in beast mode but couldn't bury one
pretty much everything else was meh or bad - passing/catching, ring around boards in d-zone to opponent still appears to be a favorite play of our d-men, lose about 75% of board battles in d-zone, miss open nets or whiff on shots, PP cross crease pass play that everyone in the league knows is coming and defends ... other than that ... meh
