????????

Bolland, at times... when healthy... But Kruger and Frolik? Come on dude. Now you're just spouting nonsense. Kruger and Frolik play no more a physical game than Morin... In fact, I actually think Morin plays a more physical game than either of them.

I don't agree with your assessment of the fourth line at all. Your fourth line is the one that provides energy. The sparkplugs. Guys that will go out there, dump and chase, forecheck, and make life difficult for the other team. Are they there to score? No. But they should be capable of handling the puck, making smart plays, and working a fucking cycle. My issues with Bollig stem from the fact that he is absolutely horrible with the puck, can't skate for shit, and has horrible hockey sense. The Hawks are a better team with another forward playing instead of him in about 75% of the games on the schedule.

What's there point in even responding to posts anymore. I didn't even mention Bollig once. Do any of you idiots use anything other than selective reading?

I must be missing something but I remember Kruger and Frolik finishing checks and providing a great forecheck. They weren't big hitters, and I've never said that but they weren't afraid to throw the body around like a Vrbata or Daze. They were good at providing a spark while also being able to keep the puck out of their zone and net.

Grimson's Sweet Ass
why do old GDTs get pinned, but not the new ones?

I'd say give Stu pinning privilege, but he'd just pin fucking everything.

You are talking about fourth liners, are you not?

I agree on Kruger and Frolik. I like both of them as fourth liners. Because they can skate, they can provide a great forecheck, and they can maintain puck possession and provide good energy. They are solid defensively and don't hurt the Hawks. I like Morin for this same reason...with the added benefit that he has offensive talent. He's a step up from Bollig and Brookbank in pretty much every aspect except fighting and enforcing.

Or we could just go back to there being no discussion whatsoever.

Sure Morin is more skilled than Bollig and Brookbank, can't disagree with that.

Q's biggest issue with Morin is his play away from the puck and defensive play. He either adapts to it for that role on the 4th line, or Q will keep playing Bollig who fits that role (defensively decent and a spark plug and not afraid to play physical and fight) well as a grinder who gives the top lines a break.

No. We all voted that we'd stay here and discuss things.

And Bollig blows. The Blackhawks can survive just fine without his energy/jam/momentum/grindiness/deterrence/enforcement/effort/etc
