Thanks. My main vent is that you'd think that the NHL owns both the NHL Network and Gamecenter live...why the hell wouldn't they make an exception that they couldn't for Versus or NBC or HNIC? Technically, they'd be gaining exposure.

Saw this the other day.

Nice to see how genuine they really are. Look at Toews.

Hilarious!

That's awesome... more Joey please! He almost looks like a mini-Toews, and is equally earnest.

It has been reported as such. I hope not as I need Nitty for my IHN FHL as none of my goalies have started yet this week...and two of the three are injured.

Penalty could be coming your way if you don't reach your required goalie starts. NeenerNeener NaNa

Shockingly I am not upset about the loss. I have come to except that this team is in a mini rebuild and has yet to find its full personality yet. Yah I said mini rebuild (I think next year or another year they can contend again but I don't think they can this season for many reasons). I knew the guys we lost in the offseason would hurt the club (and I am not dissing the new faces by saying that..I do like the bulk of em). Sticking with the team though just not going to get ahead of myself thinking this is a team that will go far. Just make the playoffs.

Our blueline is just not the same with Culli and Boyton. It just isn't and it will never fit on this club. I think both have had good games this season but the bad ones just outweigh those by a large margine. I don't think Sopel is as replaceable as most people thought. That's just me though I know he had some doozie bad games also while here (and yes cap cap cap he had to go). I would love to see Leddy up again if the room was there for him. I really don't think playing on the Hawks is going to hurt his development. Not him.

Anyways I thought certain players had good games. Skille, Pisani really stuck out for me. Not sure why Pisani but I thought his forechecking was fantastic tonight as was Skilles.

Bolland continues to frustrate me. Is skating better though as I think Shredder mentioned in a post somewhere. His puck moving choices have been bad though. Few mistakes cost the boys the game some bad penalties and by god it rings true if you don't score on a 5 on 3 it will come back to haunt you. That was probably the turning point in the game yet again. Score there and the momentum changes.

But..not a horrible game actually. Hawks have played much worse so far this season. Niemi played well so did Marleau and the Sharks came out hitting hard and often in that 1st period. I think that had an impact to be honest. Hawks need to start hitting back. And I am talking about guys like Hossa and Sharp and Bolland etc etc. Almost feels like these guys are babying their bodies a little? Who knows. But if Marleau can go around crushing people so can our big guns (I dont expect it from Kane). Start making some room for one another guys. The 4th line is doing it well. Watch and learn from them.

Anyways. Meh not really upset. It is what it is.

This team is bipolar. Seriously. One game, PP looks great, PK looks great, blocking shots, playing physical, all over them. Next game, PP sucks ****, PK sucks ****, not blocking shots, not hitting, zero forecheck, not winning board battles.

I hope Boynton chokes on a bag of dicks tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Holy **** is he terrible. No wonder this guy has been on waivers so fucking much. We have to get rid of him, somehow.

Kopecky continues to suck and take stupid penalties. Good job.

Turco didn't exactly have a good game.

I'm just going to start watching every other game.

This W-L-W-L-W-L stuff is getting really tiresome. Boynton has been the most consistent player, consistently bad, Cut the ice time of the guy or bench him. I don't know if Cullimore would fair any better with increased ice time. What the hell was it with all the penalties. This team is truly bipolar and they better get that sorted out before they find themselves in a true pickle where it's doubtful if they can even make the post-season. Playing .500 hockey ain't going to cut it.

I guess the key is making sure you pick the right game to start with so you're not seeing only the losses!

The weakness of having Boynton and Cullimore really showed last night. Boynton . . . oy. I almost started feeling sorry for the guy. And I'm with Pez, I didn't think Turco looked all that great. He really can't seem to handle it when a guy goes around behind the net and shoots from the other side.

Oh, well.

Can anybody tell me what happened to Keith? He didn't seem to play much, then not at all in the third period after that first PK. But of course the San Jose guys (got stuck with them on NHLN) didn't notice it so I have no idea whether he was benched or injured, and there's nothing about it anyplace this morning. I didn't see him do anything to deserve getting benched but you never know -- maybe he done blowed up at Q or something!

I hope Friday is better.

You never watched many Rangers games during the early 00's then.

I didn't make it to the game....literally fell asleep about 15 minutes before drop of the puck...so by everyone's reaction, I should just delete this game from my DVR???

I turned it off after the second period and went to bed. Couldn't stomach to see any more Boynton turnovers.

When you start heaping the scorn on Boynton and Cullimore and imply that they need to be shipped out, you have to ask yourself whether there really are lot of $500k-a-pop upgrades out there. I'm inclined to think that there isn't. With the cap situation we have, this is very likely the best we can do.
