Sorry but that page is bullshit. Probabilities? Really?

No thanks.

Nope! Done deal... Hawks will either make the 8th seed or miss the playoffs. In fact, they may as well start "Toronto Maple Leafing" and get a better draft pick.

I love the Canucks are higher than the Wings with less points. Priceless.

I was glad to see Sassone point out that it appeared the refs were bird dogging us with phantom calls. I just love it when the zebras influence the game.

Did we deserve some of those calls? Oh yeah.

Did they need to call all of them? Not really.

Should they have been a little more even on their calls? Oh yeah.

Did the phantom calls (and even some legit ones) happen at really really bad times? Definitely.

Am I getting tired of seeing special teams decide games in the NHL? Oh yeah, most definitely.

This team is actually pretty deep on paper. Too bad so many key guys have been out causing them to re-evaluate the game plan and style practically every game. The cute stuff and looking for the perfect shot has got to go. Just score as often and as fast as possible. The defense will take care of itself, you don't always have to have more posession time to control and win the game. Sometimes the scoreboard speaks for itself.

That Nichol goal was once again a SHITTY line change. How many times are these guys going to head off for a line change leaving the opposing team on the other side of the fucking ice?

Cullimore penalty? Really? Where? Phantom call. Seabrook, really? So losing an edge is now hooking?

Pez **** you. It's all your fault Kopecky can not win a fucking face off! Did he win one all game? Yes, near the END!

Toews thinks he could be back sooner. Lets all hope.

<edit> And Q **** YOU TOO! Your stupid fucking moves just as much cost them this game. YOu have four Centers before you use fucking Kopecky.

Sharp, Bolland, Johnson and Dowell.

Instead your dumb ass puts Dowell on fucking Wing, Suck Kopecky face off boy at Center and you fucking scratch one of the guys who's been busting his balls all season for Stahlberg?

You sir are an idiot.

End of the first period was basically a comedy of errors.

Lazy fuckin dump in by our boys and they get caught in a line change.

Turco lets in a softy.

And then for good meassure Kopecky takes a dumbass penatly to end the period which then leads to a 5 on 3 thanks to the BS penalty on Seabs.

I agree 110 percent on the Seabs penalty but the Cullimore penalty was just another dumbass penalty by one of our guys. Impede the guy, get in his way, but don't reach out right in front of the fuckin zebras and make it easy for em to **** you.

Why in the **** was Skille not dressed but yet Hendry is?? WTF is that BS? Kids been bustin his ass all season and that's his reward?? WTF??

Why in God's name is Kopecky playing center? He can't win a faceoff and is playing damm near as dumb as Boynton right now.........if that's humanly possible.

RK, answer me this. Why is Q so fucking dead set on keeping Boynton on the ice? Are the Hawks that fuckin depleted that they have absolutely no one they could bring up? All fine and well he blocks shots but he's also the dumbest ****** on the ice with his bonehead plays.

As Ton put it.......Boynton is a big impact player.......for the opposition.

Why is our PK so bad and how can we fix it. It feels like everytime we get a penalty it now equals a goal against. And why wasn't Crawford starting last night. That first goal Turco let in was a softie and the difference in the game it turned out.

That winter flu is nasty, I guess that's why Crawford couldn't play.

Great job by Hjalmarsson tying up defenders in front of the net. Looks like he plays for San Jose afterall.

3.5mil....3pts and a -2 on the year....but wait, he blocks shots. Great. Hawks should've taken the 1st and 3rd for this guy. On the ice for 3 of the 4 goals against. But lets let the excuses flow for him....

Yeah, Kopecky's 53% in the faceoff circle - for a guy filling in...was still much better than the 3.3million dollar - full-time center Bolland's 40%. Bolland was credited with zero hits....way to lay up Davey! Isn't it time for him to go back to the IR for another mysterious injury?

Got to agree with what some of you have said about the coaching decisions by Q, they have been perplexing to say the least and it's not the first time either. Hendry on the wing instead of Skille, why? Why keep Kopecky at center when it's clear he's no good at it?

And yes, Hammer has been rather crap for the price tag, but I wouldn't call him a bust just yet. It could be seen as his sophomore slump, considering he had his first full year just last year. While most of the time he plays a decent game, some more offensive chip-ins would be nice.

LeoLeo and I discussed these 2 guys a bit in Edmonton last game.... Its clearly obvious Stan the man made a few bad decisions regarding who stays and who goes.

I think it is safe to say that Scotty and Scooter love Hossa and Kopecky, they are obviously a packaged deal. Hossa I understand, but Pesci? Don't get me wrong, I like what he can bring to the team, but I completely agree with all of you guys, he is a third line winger at best. Certainly not a second line center.

Q needs to stop playing yahtzee with the lineups. Skille should have been out there, does anyone know if he's hurt?

That Cullimore penalty is something that Detroit gets away with every game. Slight picks like that are their game plan.

I am going to call out Hammer for last night's game. Seriously the last several weeks have been poor for him, and last night he looked like he needed defensive location conditioning. I know that is going to ruffle some feathers, but really his positioning has been poor for most of this season and it has really hurt the 'Hawks.

I have to agree with the Cullimore and Seabrook's penalties. What Cullimore did is consistenly allowed to happen and what he did was not going to affect the outcome of the play as Setoguchi was not close enough to get the puck or in a position to intercept a pass along the boards. With Seabrook, Marleau sure look like he dove or though he was figure skating and tried to use his toe pick. Not sure what Seab's could have hookedon him either, and Marleau is too strong of a skater to have gone down like that from a "hook".

The spread between 4th (45 pts), and 13th place is 6 points, the West is pretty tight and the season is far from over. Yes the 'Hawks are currently 1 point away from dropping out of the 8th spot, but they are also 3 points aways from the 4th spot. Still plenty of season left in a tight west. But I would sure like to see the 'Hawks get their puck possession, team defense going again....Q.

Sorry but how in the world can you blame Hjalmarsson? You're kidding right?

When the Hawks are on the PK most of the game its kinda hard to place the blame on the guys who are out there killing them -- nearly 6 minutes of his ice time yesterday was on the PK, and those "3" goals you mention, 2 were while the team was killing penalties, including a 5-on-3, and he still finished an even 0 on the night.

But nope, go ahead and defend Boynton for some odd reason -- taking the games dumbest penalty by shooting the puck right into the Sharks legs and then slashing him because hes too stupid to dump the puck in.

His running and signing that 3.5mil dollar offer sheet - is a big part of the reason 500k Boynton/Cullimore are on the ice.

Sign a big boy contract - better play big boy hockey. 3pts and a -2 on the year? I know....I know..he does soooo much more than score. He is 20th in the league in blocked shots. Whoopee. He has 10 more blocked shots than shitty Boynton. Can get someone for half that 3.5mil to be a shot blocker.

You get what you get...when a Dman makes 500K. Not sure what people expect for that. For that salary, I think he's fine. Still havent seen anyone find anyone else on an NHL roster with similar numbers to what Boynton or Cullimore's are for league minimum. Both those 2 play limited minutes, manage to be plus players. Yep, they'll make mistakes/bad plays...but find me 500K players that dont/wont.

But you're right....all hail 3pts for 3.5mil. Hjalmarsson's a legend.

Don't put words in my mouth, you're blaming a guy that was never a point producer for not producing points. He had 17 points all of last year, chill out. Hammer will never be an offensive defenseman, he plays with Soupy for a reason.
