Well, two things I was just told...Kane did not have the common flu a week ago when he missed practice...but had the beer flu...sucks to hear...secondly....RUMOR HAS IT...again RUMOR has it...Hawks looking for a blockbuster deal in Kane and Turco for Ryan Miller. I would love to say it bullshit and hopefully it is....but something is telling me it isn't. Stan shot down the idea and said it was false..but I wouldn't put it past him...the whole off the ice incidents and this hung over calling it the flu. Something is telling me they need to let go of more cap space for the future. And what is making me believe its true...because he would be going to his hometown. But I wouldn't understand why Ryan Miller, I would think he would have a big contract also. I really hope, I'm wrong and it is just a rumor. As they say stay tuned!

RK, I don't really know if Johnson is a good option as 3rd line center. Also, I don't know if Frolik is a LW either.



Assuming he can play the left side, I wouldn't put him with Toews/Kane either, maybe he'd work with Bolland/Hossa but it seems like he needs more grit on his line and players capable of winning one-on-one battles in the corners -- because he clearly cannot do that. Having a guy like Frolik and Kane on the same line makes it really soft. If Hossa is on his game then Frolik might be effective there but if hes not, he won't have any space. Someone like Brouwer, who consistently brings a physical game, and Kopecky, someone who continuously battles hard, might be those guys that can give a guy like Frolik some room.

I think we come out flying in this game, score first and don't look back. the only thing that scares me is Nashville lost two, one in overtime and one in the 3rd by four goals to the BJ's. They are going to come out hitting, I think their over the top hits will lead to some dumb penalties that will result in PP goals for us. So I am going to ride my last winning prediction that started in the second, while some of you ate crow, and say 4-2 Hawks.
