Great game-especially Hossa netting a SHG on a gorgeous feed from Toews. Na Zdravie!

Despite him taking an Instigator, I'm glad Scott did something that no one else did--and that was stick up for a teammate. We've been lacking in this department this year. Someone goes after one of ours we should go after one of theirs. Scott IMHO did his job and should have been a locker room boost. Hell, I'm sure Hendry would have appreciated the same--clean hit on him or not.

Regardless...5 in a row...Now, hopefully wednesday we take down the flamers.

Well, he's only had 3 centers this year. Can also list the games missed by Hossa, Kane, Stalberg, Pisani, Bolland...throw in new players and yeah, lines will be juggled to get the best mix for the team, dictate roles for players, and also give different looks based on matchups as well - which he's a big fan of and had pretty good success with.

Yep. He's so awesome to watch when he decides to kick it into that extra gear.

Toews is a guy that when he is hot you know you are watching history in the making. At this pace he'll be the last to ever wear 19 for chicago and he's damn near already a lock for the call to the hall.

I want to see him Happy Gilmore a ref....

Last time that happened the 'hawks have been on the short end of the calls by all other officials for over 20 years.

Q still hasn't figured out that Frolik needs to be in the top six to be effective. I'd be 100% happy if he moved Bickell off that second line and put him down to the third or even the fourth. Might get some offense out of something besides our top line. But if we continue to win, whatever.

Q had a good 4th line at one point. Skille-Dowell-Bickell... They were playing very well. Then for some reason "poof" gone.....

That's my biggest issue with Q this year. He can't help but **** with things when it isn't really neccessary. I still grasp his tinkering is responsible for 3-8 of the teams L's.

I would keep Frolik with Bolland-Hossa. But once again he can't help but **** with things. Let them fucking gel and see what happens. Novel idea I know.

Yup. I said this exact same thing in chat last night. Frolik's potential and his opportunity to bust out of this MOST horrific scoring drought is being squandered by not getting to play LF with Hossa-Bolland IMO. Other than actually putting the damn biscuit in the basket he's doing so much else right out on the ice and looks so much more adept at the Hawks skating/movement-heavy system now a couple of weeks into his Chicago tenure. I maintain that his first two fucking games as a Hawk were simply not enough time to determine that he would always be ineffectual with Hossa. Sighs. . .Q fucking enrages and exasperates me.

So...Q has stuck with these lines...that have won 5 in a row - and people ***** he's not switching them up.

Yet...when he does switch them up - he fucks up and doesnt let lines build chemistry

I don't like Bickell with them either, but what he's doing, is working. Maybe he wants 1 big body/physical player on each line...someone that will/should go into corners? Toews, Bickell, Brouwer and Kopecky? Because....Kane/Sharp arent the strongest...god know Bolland doesnt hit...Hossa been made of glass...Dowell been inconsistant and his play has been falling....and Stahlberg/Johnson are more speed than grind (although Viktor will hit)
