Any feelings on the playoffs?

As long as the refs keep protecting opposing players from Scott they will continue to take runs at our players. IE Eager running Leddy in the last minute of the game. Refs were between them earlier in the game also. Refs did it vs Blows earlier this year.

A win like this has to get in the heads of the Sharks players as the playoffs approach.

I happened to Talk to John for a few minutes as I was walking out the door tonight. Ben wanted NO part of him. Actually Scott said no one on their entire team wanted a part of him.

Everyone notice he was on the blue line for our first goal? That said I must admit EVERYTIME I see another team coming into our zone on a rush, while Scott is back there, I cringe! The guy just doesn't skate well backwards.

Maybe they're smarter than I thought. I wish he could have had a chance to kick the shit out of Eager at the end of the game when he took a run at someone, can't remember who it was. Unfortunately right after it happened the linesman skated right towards Scott and pushed him away.

I dont think Brouwer ... had a good game at all.

Chasing after Marleau against the boards - when Campoli already had that covered - which left Thorton all alone in the slot on the shark's second goal. Ugh!

I don't care for Brouwer and really dont want him resigned. Never has impressed me, sure every now and then he puts a few in but just never impressed me.

I have no problems with his hitting or goal scoring production, 22 last year, 17 so far this year, though I'd like to see a less streaky and more consistent production.

He does need to work on his D. He also ruined a possible 2 on 1 with Hossa last night by trying to rush a pass to Hossa, while the lone D-man left on the play was near Hossa instead of carrying the puck into the shark's D-zone and making the D-man have to choose which Hawk to cover. Ugh!

Great game...nice call Icehog fan..I thought it would be closer then it was..good call. I heared some people in here mention the metal guy and the other jack ass they been showing last year too that does that *** ass dance. Every time they show that prick doing that dance..I want to take a baseball bat and smash his head in. Now they have him in the Binnys Commercial. Why do they give these morans and time of the day. Like they even care about hockey. This prick that does that dance is most likely the same prick that attends cubs games, how I can tell is by the way he dressed for that commercial. Preppy shorts with white shoes and no socks and a polo shirt..with a cheesy smile that only shows his teeth. God help him If ever ran into him drunk....

Sorry guys you can probably tell how I feel about that ass-whole since last season. Did not mean to rain on the Parade. But I hope he ends up getting his ass kicked one day...

So does gravy. That doesn't mean it's good for you.

Scotts been the least of the concerns on the club this season. We all would have liked a body that could play more minutes and had more skill in their game but we all know what the realities have been. And damn if it hasn't been fun watching him do facial surgeries a few times this year.

And yes I will admit it Ryan J has been a nice little addition since we nabbed him knowing the cap issues. I am calling him Ryan J now as it's a bit more buddy buddy. Been noticing him more and more involved in offensive plays now too. Has turned out to be a nice little Madden replacement.

What the hell are you talking about....gravy? Are you thinking of the baby batter Jako dropped on you? And I'm sure you'd love to have a body that could play with you for more minutes and give facials, especially a "buddy buddy".

Where was Seabrook? Since of course Thornton was his. 10ft behind Thornton is where he was.

That was Brouwer's read/pick up, RK...not Seabrook. Brouwer has to look over his shoulder with Campoli in perfect postion and forcing Marleau to the boards. Brouwer made a horrible play there. It wasnt a bad line change as someone said initially on TV...Hawks had numbers back, Brouwer just never looked and was an idiot there.

Yep... Janssen and Scott got tossed out of the game for merely talking to eachother. I don't even remember what they called... unsportsmanlike?

EDIT:

Just checked:

17:09 John Scott: 2 Minutes for Unsportsmanlike Conduct of Cam Janssen
