Yeah but theres no way the Hawks attempted 87 shots... They got 2 in the 3rd period.

they had 10 shots in the 3rd easy. Only two were on net. Thats what they are referring too. Hawks were off all night in the shooting department. But hey they scored 12 goals in the two previous games. Another 4 tonight.

While two of the 3 Canuck goals were flukes.

That they were... Apparently Schnieder had PMS cramps.... and is a possibility in game #7... . I dont think it matters who their goalie is now... Salo may be out.. Bieska got hit hard... hard to believe he won't have Concussion like symptoms...

I am listening to the TEAM 1040 right now and the caller is complaining about Bolland's hack on Sedins's stick.

I stated to the Canuck Fans in attendence that it was allowed for "Ceremonious Purposes".

LMAO

I am listening too. Jeff is one of the few local radio personalities that make some sense and doesn't have overwhelming bias.

Never even thought about Hodgson. Why is that kid sitting for guys like Torres? Have they no confidence in him? I thought he was showing some signs this season when he was playing in their lineup?

You know Dream, I envy that he has been in the lineup. He has had his issues with a bad bak etc. The thing is Beach was selected before him and hasn't had a sniff!!!

Gimmme some Beach!!

I don't ever remember having a thread dedicated to one game of the officiating screwing us....

We may have complained about it in the GDT, but an entire thread dedicated to it? Seriously?

Guess we're not all that Special person after all...

And oh yeah... Saw this funny poll just tonight.... Thought I'd share it. The Sun polled Canuck fans this question...

I think I lost more than half my brain cells after reading that drivel. Someone needs to put them in their place.

The Hawks will hopefully take care of that on the ice for us on Tuesday night.

Come on RK, be objective, I cringe at the Cup Finals thread we had here when many absolutely believed in a conspiracy that the NHL wanted the series to go 7 games. I probably had some funny comments in there too, thinking back I know what these fans are feeling. Their team went from the top of the world to right now to a sack of shit with no one to blame expect....the refs? The Finals was FULL of some of the most awful calls, both ways and had it gotten to a game 7 I could only imagine the uproar.

Regardless, the Nucks fans are pussies. And really why shouldn't they be? Their team has never one shit in 40 years (our drought was longer though), they regularly turn in solid point totals every year, and now for the third year in a row they are looking at the Hawks possibly sending them home. Being a Cubs, ND, Hawks fan I am accustom to shitty teams and teams that don't deliver, or just straight up collapse. Finally the Hawks won last year and I have been at peace with sports for a while....til this series. We know what hockey means to Canadians, and if I were them I would be ready to riot in the streets. When the Cubs exited the playoffs two years in a row without even a showing I was ready to riot. But lose this series, I mean this is a loss of epic proportions, one that could put a franchise on hold for a while, I don't even know what I would do if I were a **** fan.

That said, **** everyone on their team, except Luongo, can't get enough watching him play in the playoffs.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
So, for tonight's game I caught it at a local BWW, which has a few 'hawks fans, and a lot of Canucks fans. The Canucks fans, once Schnider went down, were yelling "LOUUUUUUUU!" for every save he made.

So, a buddy and I decided to be complete knobfaces. On the game-winning goal, we got up and yelled "LOUUUUUU!"

They deserved it.

Any way you slide it...good win. Hossa anchored the GWG.

Now, onto Game 7....this is where heroes are made.

Hawks withstood the flurry the Canucks had in the second half of the game and most of the OT. They looked as they were determined to finish it off. I didn't think the Hawks looked as fleet-footed and loose as they did in the past two games but hung in there. The stars were pretty non-existent apart from Hossa working up the game winner. It's pretty clear that Toews is injured as he doesn't have that final jump that makes him so great. Kane was a little all over the place, some shifts good and other not so good. The stars of tonight was definitely Bolland's line and Crawford. Bolland being his awesome self, Bickell finally throwing his weight around and Frolik being excellent on both sides of the ice. Frolik has been a pleasant surprise for me and he looks like he is one of those players that has an extra gear for the posts-season. Crawford kept the Canucks off when they were swarming in the second half and OT. Nothing spectacular but good enough to keep the team in it. He's been like that the whole series and looks like he will improve the more he plays.

Game 7 was the only suitable ending to this epic series and this series has so much storylines it's ridiculous. Even if the Hawks lose, it will have been a great experience for this still young team and it has also shown who are the lions among the sheep of this roster and should help management decide who they will try to keep or let go.

What a ride this playoff run has been, totally amazing. Hats off to everyone of the guys you did every fan proud. Who would have thought this day last week that this series would go to 7.
