The entire point of posting this question here was so I didn't have to look it up.

And I would imagine that since no one responded by the 3rd time you posted it, that it was time for you to go look it up.

Must be a conspiracy....

Kuc is tweeting both Pinani and Kruger could be in the line up.

Will he dress scott just to sit him on the bench? Seriously after he knocked hair puller down the other night I didn't notice him take another shift.

Yeah we discussed that in the other thread I think. When he did that to cry baby hair puller, none of us could remember him touching the ice again, and I thought that it was more for fear of the make-up call in a tight game than the fact he was actually being reprimanded. StuG seemed to agree.

He didn't and Q was smart as hell for doing that. He knew the refs knew they missed one... and no matter if Scott played the cleanest game of his life that they were going to call him for something. I mean... having Scott on the bench in case the Canucks start playing like hacks again would probably be better than Pisani in the lineup. Sure didn't hurt the Hawks last game.

It's the last game of the season for one of these teams and we know how the Canucks like to hack it up when the outcome is set... especially if they're losing.

Instead of complaining to each other about it, here it is:

1942

Maple Leafs come back in the Stanley Cup Finals to defeat Detroit -- there were no #8 seeds back then.

1975

Islanders defeated the Penguins in the Quarter Finals, but things were different back then as well. Either way, Pittsburgh was considered the #6 seed, and the Islanders were the #8 seed.

2010

Flyers over Bruins, Conference Semi-Finals, not even close to #1 and #8 seeds.

After all the Canuck crying I'd not play Scott tonight. He did his job just helping us get back to this point.

I can't believe the Canucks will play a lot of Hack Hockey tonight. To important of a game.

Flyers over Bruins was Conference Semi Finals. They played Montreal in the Conference Finals and won 4-1

True... but is adding Pisani really anything more than a lateral move of having Scott on the bench as an insurance policy? Would hate for the Hawks to be up and some hack take out Sharp/Kane/Toews etc with no fear of getting the shit kicked out of them with the Hawks advancing.

I would also question your "not even close" since Philly was a Number 7 seed

I still think you need scott in there. The hawks are going to get it from the refs anyway. So I'd rather it be scott pounding someone than pisani tripping over the blue line.

Pisani can at least work the PKs.

I think after Gillis's comments if they run the Hawks they are going to get called.

Gillis must realize whining usually back fires.

Lol, agreed.

If the Hawks take a decent lead, those hacks will just goon it up to save face with their fans.

I doubt it too... but you saw after Scott was tossed in game one how Kane got a wicked 2 hand slash... Bieksa fought Stalberg etc... goonery you didn't even see a glimmer of when Scott was on the bench. Plus I've been reading that he's really good at chirping which as you know can get in people's head (see Shawn THornton).

How is a #6 vs #7 seed close to #1 vs #8 seed?

It's like saying the #2 seed vs the #3 seed is close to a #1 vs #8 seed.

I don't care either way. I'd like to think the officiating will not play a huge role in the outcome. Not to mention the entire country of Canada and most hockey fans in the US will be watching.
