TGDT: 9/20 - Blackhawks (0-0-0) vs. (0-0-0) Oilers 8:00PM

We actually drove over to Saskatoon to watch this game. I thought beach was horrible....turned over the puck lots....Dave toews really is small....why did emery not wear hawks socks? They were all black... I don't think any assumptions on pk or pp can be made on a game with 5 nhlers....



I thought leddy looked good... Lepisto was good .... Montador could have shot from the point like 8 times but passed on it.



Emery seemed pretty nervous....but not as nervous as nugent-Hopkins



It was fun ...my girls got to sit in the front row and see Jonathan Toews

I've been saying that about D.Toews since we got him, I watched him while he was here in North Dakota and he looks about the same size. The whole socks thing is just a goalie thing, Emery technically has to wear Blackhawk socks as part of the NHL dress code, but they don't enforce that with goalies. Emery was probably not wearing black socks but instead some sort of underarmor legging thing. Some goalies prefer wearing leggings instead of socks because they feel it helps the pad rotate. If you look at pictures of Niemi when he was here, he wore some thin white socks almost like pantyhose instead of the regular socks, just a personal preference thing.

How the **** was Beach horrible? Were we watching the same game?

I was in row 1 ...tell how he didn't suck....weak on the puck...overplaying....turned it over...one which caused a goal....



Now that Hayes kid....three times the player beach is.
