See what happens when you don't let the Cubs wear your jerseys? You win games!!!!

All in all a great effort by the team tonight with the exception of that derp in giving up all those goals. The D needs to step up better for Crawford.

No argument there.

Would you suggest keeping him on the second line after seeing how Shaw and Saad played with Kane?

The game/health/matchups dictates lines pretty much

As long as Shaw isn't hurt you keep the lines the same besides sending Versteeg to the golf course.

If you get in a bind, you can obviously toss Zeus in for a shift or two like tonight, but keep him in the role he's supposed to play.

Absolutely. It was a great fucking play and extremely clutch. I'm not denying that at all. He just can't play a regular shift anymore. There's nothing left in the tank. It's not his fault. The coaching staff needs to realize this and use him how they used him tonight.

Please don't compare Handzus with Hossa. It makes you look like a fucking idiot. He has 3 fucking points and is a -6. Hossa has 14 points and is a +3.

That was a great play to receive that pass in his skates, get it to his stick, and bury that backhander, but keep this shit in perspective. He is still the second worst Hawk forward on the ice next to the guy that didn't take a shift in the second half of the game.

Motion seconded. Versteeger is a bust on his second go with the Hawks.

I'll wait and see how versteeg comes back next season ...a full year after his knee surgery. They say it takes the 12 months...He's definitely lost some quickness

Then bring in Morin. Bring in a healthy player to do better than the half-assed job that Steeger did.

While I understand what you're saying, it's gotta be mental too. He looks afraid to shoot, afraid to carry the puck, and makes dumbass decisions every time he has it.

he played less than 7 min tonight, and was a -2

Morin may be a bigger mouth breather than Leddy. There's not enough room for two drool buckets on the bench

Regin/Nordstrom have better smarts
