The Blues need to carry the game for a whole 60 mins. I can see us getting crushed this game. It's not a series until the home team loses!

Agreed, losing the last two with the lead that late is gut wrenching. I feel like you guys have had a horseshoe up your bum. The Hawks just have to keep the game out of reach.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say...Hawks lose this one 4-3 in OT, after blowing a late third period lead.

I will go into cardiac arrest if this goes to OT. They need to pull out these 1 goal games in regulation, that and make sure that they aren't 1 goal games.

Hawks forwards have one goal in 8+ periods.

Need to have either

Sadd - Toews - Hossa

Sharp - Shaw - Kane

or

Bickell/Saad - Toews - Kane

Sharp - Shaw - Hossa

as our top two lines, and stop diluting our top 4 forwards.

Ouch. Brookbank for Seabrook? I'll take that!

Please please tell me Q will pair Brookbank with Keith! That will lead to either many goals, or many penalties from Keith.

I think in all likleyhood it's not going to be a straight swap. Most likley Runblad/Brookbank will only see 3rd pairing minutes with Rosival/Hammer/Oduya taking up the slack.

Still, it is a big drop-off.

BTW, will Backes play? Everything I read today says no word either way.

No Official word yet. IF he does he has balls of steel, but better be 100% or hes just hurting the team.

If they follow concussion protocol Backes is done for at least 2 weeks IMO. No way they can say he wasn't concussed on that hit. He probably still has tweety birds circling his ugly mug.

I expect D pairings to be

Keith-Rosival

Hammer-Oduya

Leddy-Brookbank

Or something like that.

Chicago Blackhawks 4- St louis Canucks 2.

I would like to add, I hate for anyone to get hurt....but Backes deserves that legal hit. NHL should really teach their refs to use their commen sense when making a call and not blow the whistle because 13 thousand fans are booing...delayed reactions on a call always makes you (ref ) look like you don't understand your job. Happens all the time.

^^^Yep wino, that's what I'd expect from the pairing with Hammer/Oduya getting the lion's share of them time. Depending on how Keith/Rosival look they might get more time as the gamer goes on if they're not a liability but I don't really see Leddy/Brookbank getting more than the usual 5/6 pairing would.

Funny.... Blues are only 1/13 on the PP this series.

I guess instead of "funny" I should use "lucky".
