Crawford battled the whole game...while not getting much work in the second

That slug handzus made a great play clearing the puck on koivu after craw made 3 in tight saves with a minute left.

1 more win to go and another conference final.

Hawks better come out and win 10-0...and not allow a single shot on net. Hopefully this time the lines they run at practice make the board happier. Hopefully Yeo doesn't out coach Q the same way Hitch, Julien, Babcock, Sutter, Yeo last year...the last 5 playoff series or they could be in trouble

You're as predictable as a Timex watch. Disappear when the Hawks are losing and Q is fucking awful, and reappear as soon as Q uses common sense and the Hawks win. All because of Q's decisions, obviously.

I don't think anyone other than Klem, Ton and I understand how hard it is for a goalie to go 10 min without a shot and stay hot. Crawford will go 10-15 min with 1 shot, and then face 5 shots in 2 minutes. Not a lot of goalies in the league could do that.

I just want this series to be over though.

Great game by Crawford tonight. Easily 1st star of the game. Nice PP, good energy by Regin to get the call, that led to the PP goal. Nice to see Q, finally, load up a line 5 on 5 (and, hey, guess what, they scored the winning goal). Agree with Rex that BTK 5 on 5 would be nice. Like to see Oduya and Leddy do a better job with the puck behind the net, though everyone really needs to do a better job of getting the puck out of our zone. Zus had a nice 1st period. Nice check by Toews on Granlund (sic?) on the winning goal (like to see more of that).

There's no way I could bang Pez

I'd be told the whole time how I'm doing it wrong. Then during cuddle time, it would somehow come up that Q, Zus and Oduya were to blame. Killing all the magic I thought we had

Maybe if he wore a Kitchen mask...hmmm

If Keith and Seabrook can turn on their kill switch game 6 should be fun to watch. It'd be nice to have another 4 point night in a clinching game from Keith, it will likely be needed from one of our stars.

My favorite teams
 1. Portland Timbers
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
I'm just glad Toews got his sweater back from Arkhipov, Seabrook back from Odelein, & Keith back from Quint after that complete pants-downer that was game 4 when only Sharp, Hossa, and Handzus bothered to show up.

Ultimately I'm glad Q and Company *finally* realized that it's the ugly, greasy goals thyat are going t5o win this, not the cute plays that ultimately end up in a turnover and an odd-man rush.

Regin looked great out there--No reason he should sit from hereon out--he looked better than Bollig, Nordstrom, Versteeg, and Morin combined.

Brookbank needs to stay in for Rosie. I don't know if Rosie is out of gas but he was beyond worthless the past few games.

Time to put this away in Minnesota.

No way that Regin looked better than Morin. No one - and I mean no one - looks better than Morin

It's crazy to me how much I miss Shaw on this team. not only to solidify lines but to provide energy that they always seem to forget to play with. Hope he comes back soon.

If you receive a man's dick in either of your holes, chances are your probably ***. I'm sure that's as official as it gets.

Even so, why the **** are Handzus, Kruger, and Smith on the ice to end the game? You have a time out, take it, and put Toews/Hoss out there for ****'s sake.

Why would you want to take a timeout with a minute left to play, after the Wilds top unit just got off the ice and they've got 6 to your 4?

So getting your top 2 defensive players rested, and allowing the Wild to get their top 6 offensive players rested after a long shift makes sense?

After Toews and Hossa, your best defensive forwards are Kruger, Handzus and Smith (sharps injured so he's useless). Them up against the Wilds 2nd best unit (which consisted of Nino, Spurgeon, Brodziak, Coyle, Scandella and Heatley) was a risk I would easily take.

I'm sorry, I must have missed where the Hawks were killing a penalty in that last minute...? It was 6 on 5, was it not? When the game is on the line, you want your best players on the ice, regardless of what the other team does. I will take the Hawks' best 5 vs. the Wild's best 6 any day of the week. Why the **** should they be afraid of that matchup? It's no coincidence that the Hawks put Sharp/Toews/Hossa back together and probably played the best 2 periods of the series during that time.

I think one of the big problems in games 3 and 4 was Q trying to spread out the weapons and create matchup problems. Unfortunately the only matchup problems created were for the Hawks. Spreading out the talent just allowed the less talented Wild lineup to compete with the Hawks, and the Wild secondary scorers were effective. The watered down lines also stifled the Hawks' offense and played right into the defensive gameplan of the Wild....

Load up those top 2 lines and take it to them. They can't compete when you do that. Stop playing down to the level of the opposition.
