hopefully with Sutter hurt it might open up the neutral zone a bit more in the third and the Wilds blueliners tire out. This is bullshit hockey.

Q's going to get the beats for this game I can just smell it coming.

If Leddy didn't have the flu and he was a healthy scratch? I'll let Pez go at that one and not say a word against it.

Wasn't Leddy benched in the last game about midway in the 2nd?

Leddy was benched. The D pairings for the two goals? Rozsival with Oduya and Seabrook with Hammer. Wtf? Guys that haven't played together all year.

I don't get it.

Shut out by Bryzgalov. Awesome.

Leddy benched, Rozsival plays 17:20..... Seabrook with only 19:51. Why is Nordstrom on the third line? He's an AHLer and this "defensively responsible" shit is a farce. At least Morin has proven he can play at the NHL level.

All in all, horseshit effort.

Nordstrom is kind of boring. He sure likes to get hit hard a lot too. I don't think he is ready myself either. Don't mind the "defensive responsibility" idea just not this round. Could use someone to bust through that trap more than another defensive forward.

I missed Shaw that game to be honest. Didn't think I would miss him this series but I missed him tonight.

Seabrook didn't have a good game, neither did the rest of the D. Agree with you Pez.

Hawks went along with the Wilds boring style of locking down the middle and minimizing any offensive pressure and it cost them. Why do this, when that's not how this team gets its success? But the Hawks historically have a shit record in road game 3's under Q, so this was expected. I now expect a much better effort for game 4, show the Wild who the champs are.

He's not even boring, he's just useless. He's a fringe NHLer who brings absolutely zero offensive skill or physicality to the table. He just skates around really hard accomplishing nothing.

With Shaw out, Morin should be in. He has shown he can play physically, and put the puck into the net. Rozsival showed how bad he is playing 17+ minutes tonight. He was absolutely terrible in all aspects of the game.

The Hawks had zero transition game and couldn't get anything going on the counter-attack. Not a surprise considering who you had trying to make those outlet passes.

Oduya had a particularly bad game too. Turned the puck over so many times I lost count. But then again, he was playing with Rozsival a lot, which makes absolutely no sense to me.

Nobody was good tonight, but for ****'s sake, at least ice the best lineup... The Hawks had a chance to bury these assholes and they looked like they were just throwing the game away.

Apparently you didn't read "after winning 2". Hawks are 1-12 in game 3 on the road in the last 5 years.

What a boring affair that was. The absence of Leddy drastically hurt us in my opinion. There was little breakout from our d-men, you simply have to play him, this is not Brandon Bollig, this is an absolutely essential piece to winning another playoff series. It really throws the whole team off balance.

I just don't understand the move overall, it was like a broken record watching the game tonight, we all kept saying "what did Leddy do again to be benched?"

Just dumbfounding, and its a petty thing but definitely not petty to him. Benching in his hometown is rough anyway you slice it.

SMARTEN UP Q!!! LETS GO!!! THUMBS UP!!!!

I didn't read any bullshit response in this thread.

Hawks still lead the series 2-1 and from my view, they were trapped nearly to perfection while looking like they wanted to take the night off. If the Wild can play that perfect trap for 3 more games out of four; they deserve the series

Blackhawks in five.

19 shots (and not very difficult ones) on net isn't going to win you many playoff games let alone regular season games. Wild def accomplished what they set out to do. Agree with Rex unless they can string together 3 more games like that this is still the Hawks series to take. Feels a lot like last years series against these guys.

And yah Minnesota..a hockey state...deserves far more entertaining hockey than this garbage they get. I like their fan base..i have always liked Minnesotas support for hockey. Give them trap hockey? Just fucking rude. That's like giving Bill Cosby No Name Jello. Bull shit I tells ya.
