People forget Boozer's first month in a half when he was literally averaging 20 and 10. But what I haven't seen all the Boozer doubters talk about is what started happening before the second round of Boozer injuries. Rose stopped utilizing the pick and roll and started forgetting Boozer was on the court.

Its a very realistic possibilty Detroit cuts this guy.
If so, should GarPax go after him?

If im Detroit I cut Charlie V and don't think twice about it.

If the Bulls were to cut Boozer, then Villanueva wouldn't be a terrible backup for Taj at all at the right price.

0% chance Boozer is cut

Boozer was 18 and 10 last year and poor defense exactly like he has been his whole career it would be idiotic to cut him. If you didnt want that type of player your GM shouldn't of signed him last year. The Boozer last year was no different than his previous years in Utah really. No way he gets cut.

OMG, Did I say the Bulls should cut him, or that the Bulls will. LOL

Personally, I wont cut Boozer, unless I can grab a player that could replace the production. Charlie V + SG would be close.

I don't think anyone wanted Boozer or that he was PaxGars masterplan..Boozer was what was left over after the big free agency drama.
And Boozer wasn't as good as he was in Utah the previous year either.
Thank you very much and Go Bulls !

certainly was better than the 09 version in Utah and a few other years. If the GM didnt think he was worth it he shouldn't of just said "well we missed out on everyone else we will take Boozer for 5yrs 80m even though he isnt worth it". I think Boozer was one of Chicago's main targets outside LBJ and Dwade and Amare. Boozer really isnt a bad fit in Chicago he is a PnR guy and so is Drose and he also has a decent post game. Boozer had pretty decent year last year and played like he has his whole career. A 20-10 guy with no defense and gets injured quite a bit.

as much as i want it to be ben gordon...its prob gonna be rip

meh with Lawrence Frank now coach i think Rip will play again. Only reason he didnt play last year is John Kuster hated Rip. I bet they play rip a lot and try to trade him to a team like Chicago or another team who needs a good shooter at the SG at the deadline.

I still guess Charlie V

But amesty players wont be able to just go to the Heat or LA or Chicago or Boston read this article pretty nice if you ask me.

your GM knew that already and still wanted Boozer and thats why he is in Chicago. He knew his defense and his durability is questionable but still though he was a good fit. He maybe is overpaid a little bit but he is a really good fit in Chicago playing with Noah and Deng masks his poor defense for the most part. I mean Chicago was the best defense in the NBA last year LOL.

Yeah, and Boozer masks Noah's poor offense. So they help each other out.

exactly that is why your GM got him they are the perfect fit together. Amare or Boozer either one is really the perfect fit at the PF playing with Noah. Amare had a much better year last year but they are very similar even both have history of injures. I bet Amare was the first choice but Boozer was probably pick 1b for the PF spot in Chicago going into free agency last year. I expect Boozer to play better in the playoffs this year that is really the only place he let the Bulls down last year he was pretty bad in the playoffs but him and Taj are 2 really good PFs.

Kirk Hinrich ?
Kirk and B. Gordon back to Chicago! :yeah:

Carlos Boozer
I don't know yet, That would be good and bad, good is that we would have Taj go in hopefully and finally have a PF that can play some defense. The bad is that Boozer is a threat in the post game.

I hope the Pistons cut Ben Gordon so he can come home.
Or at least so he can go to a team that he can fix hs career on.

I like those provisions but we can use that as well. We are currently below the cap. LA, Bos, & Mia are not.

It's tough to tell which player from Detroit will be cut. My vote would be Charlie V because of the years he has left & his complete lack of production. BG has not been good but he's been better than Charlie. However, he has much more money left on his contract. If BG was let go, I would scoop him up in a heartbeat. Same goes for Mike Miller, but he probably won't be waived by Miami.

I hear what some of you are saying about boozer..Boozer is a solid post player yes...and the rest of the team can help hide Boozers defensive woes.....Fine.

SO HOW COME THE BULLS CAN'T HIDE BEN GORDONS BELOW AVERAGE DEFENSE? IT SEEMED TO WORK OUT FINE BEFORE....BEN GORDON MAY NOT COMPLETELY STOP HIS OPPANANT ON THE DEFENSIVE END, BUT AT LEAST bGs opponant won't be able to stop him either so it pans out.....And as far as Comparing Boozer and Ben Gordons defense, Gordon is the better defender simply because BG at least trys.....Boozer does not......Boozer=No defense....BG= some defensive effort..........It would e cool as **** to have both Kirk and Gordon back.......I would choose BG and Hinrich over Boozer anyday.

Just sayin'
