Why because they have won multiple SB with elite QB talent and back doored the playoffs with limited QB talent?

And you want to roll the dice with some unknown?

Maybe there is another HC from Canada we should try?

Because BB is 72 and his personnel decisions the last decade or so have been terrible. So when he eventually leaves or dies I want no part of McDaniels as HC. He failed with the Broncos, was a snake with the Colts and failed again with the Raiders.

I would hire Kingsbury who has a history of developing QBs, has worked with Caleb before and has done wonders with Daniels.

I agree that BB as a Gm was terrible, but im not advocating BB be anything more then a HC. I also Agree that McDaniels as a HC was terrible but im not advocating McDaniels be anything more then an OC.

Kinsbury as a HC would be great, same thing with Ben Johnson, But both of them are great OCs but uknown as a HC.. They could follow in the footsteps of McDainials and be terrible as a HC for all we know. Its an unknown situation. The BB/JM is NOT an unknown situation they are a proven combination, yeah you might only get 4-5 years out of BB, but consedering the Bears track record with getting nothing from the HC, 4-5 years is not a bad situation.

Obviosuly getting 10+ years out of Kingsbury or Johnson would be the best situation, and have no problems rolling the dice on that. But getting a guarenteed 4-5 years of coaching is better then 0 years if Johnson or Kingsbury turn out to be terrible HCs

Also the BB/JM will guarentee that CW will be developed properly. If CW is bad then you cant blame the coaches

None of this is the topic. You asked about QB W/L record as if people blamed Fields as a rookie. They did not. If Williama continues to play like shit his 2nd and 3rd year then yes people will be harder on him with regards to wins and losses. That is reality in the NFL as a QB.
Never brought up Fields rookie year, try again

I doubt BB comes here with no say in personnel and the point is if he only last a couple of years because he is old as **** you would have to think about promoting McDaniels or run the risk of Caleb learninf a 3rd offense in a short period of time.

Kingsbury was already a HC before. His teams had a penchant for 2nd half collapses hence why I am interested to see how his offense and Daniels closes out the year. If they still remain consistent then that gives hope that perhaps he has grown as a coach.

You asked if QB W/L is a thing with Caleb like it was with Fields. My answer is no because no one really judged Fields rookie year based on QB W/L and thus we shouldnt judge Caleb's rookie year based on it.

According to the experts here and even in the media the OL was an issue because of the QB. As long as Williams gets rid of the ball in whatever time like Bagent the OL would be serviceable

Lather rinse repeat. Welcome to Bears fandom.
We should've just got Mack Jones the GOAT leader of TTT.

The real reason the BB will never be here is because George likes weak HCs and would never sign off on that, so it's irrelevant anyway

24 which is even more reason he may not last. High chance he dies trying to keep up with her.

Fine I'll say it.

It's Caleb. I told y'all all spring long. This team could have been set up so much better but nope.............................

"Generational" was always laughable and thrown around way too much.

Has to be Poles. Seems level headed and smart enough but I always say to judge a GM by his record once he’s had a chance to mold his team. Even if playoffs weren’t yet in the cards, this is not acceptable under any standard.
