What did you think? Was With or Without You a fitting tribute to the guys who are no longer with the team? Did you appreciate the addition of Butthead? Did you miss a speech from McGreedy? Enquiring minds need to know....

I thought it was awesome all the way around.

Having the old guys pass it off to the new guys. Having JT skate to center ice with the Cup. First time in the history of the UC that's ever been done...

Last years team was truly special and this night finalized that with at least half of them and the fans. As dumb as some of those fans may be. And no Moron this was not directed at you.

I have no comment on Blunk and Mcdonough because IMO they can be blocked out.

It could have lasted all night.

First banner(s) hung in years.

I got to see that live. Probably the best moment in sports, EVER.

The excitement of the cup was great. The home celebration was something to behold.

Just want to echo what everyone else has said, oh, and how about that anthem tonight. Maybe it's just me but it seemed a little louder than usual.

Ceremony was great... could have cut out 15 minutes of useless bullshit, though.

I am still in awe and I hope the videos get posted and people have great pics that I can steal ;).

I could use less Rocky at the mic though...even though I know he needed to throw the thanks out. Eddie I can do without though but that stuff is neither here nor there. AMAZING!!!! Spine is still recovering from the shivers.

Congrats again all!!!

I thought it was almost religious. I honestly felt like I witnessing something so legendary that my kids will ask about it someday. I thought the video on the ice surface and the pictures was unreal. Loved every minute of it except having to share it with bettman. They cant take it away from us guys! It will forever be ours!!!!

That was amazing. Seeing the Stanley Cup on the ice at the UC... Definitely leaves you speechless.

This made 2007 more moot.

Just out of curiosity, what was the title of the song played? I must admit, with everything else that happened, that was one heck of a good choice! When people were asking me during Training Camp, I was asked "What do you think they should do with the banner ceremony?", I answered "The most memorable way possible music-wise, and not with 'We Are The Champions'. Something very instrumental, yet powerful, something that could beat Detroit's recent ceremony and Anaheim's out of the water, and give the fans a memory they will never forget.

The Hawks did just that.

The montage was on the ice was beautiful as well. Screw the fact McPimp was milking the cow for what it was worth. The fans deserved every minute of it. I figured... 49 years... 49 minutes? I must admit, he put a darn good show up, too. You gotta give him that, even though our opinions of him are far different. By far though, this was the best banner ceremony I ever saw... ever, and I attended the 2007 ceremony.

This one, I wish I attended.... and if anyone feels generous enough to want to hand out one of those little mini-banners they were handing out, I know I'd love to have one to go on my wall.

Again, though, congratulations to each and every one of you.

The Montage?

With or Without You by U2....

The theme they are playing while skating and hanging the banner I have no idea. Sounds like a movie trailer.

I'm sure everyone already knows but Adam and his staff have put up some very good Vids.

Opening Montage, passing of the torch/banner, old to new, and JT and the Cup!

just WOW! Tears of happiness. Sap or not one of the truly monumental moments in my life.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Moron you and I don't often agree but I most certainly hope you enjoyed most of last nights Ceremony. It's been far too long in coming and was well done for the most part, minus the front office BS.

For me less about the behind the scenes people and more about the people who actually won the cup.................the PLAYERS.

I cried like a baby up there in 326. What a great view of the ice and all the happenings. The front office crap, yeah coulda done without, but it is what it is. Did you see how they snuck in Bettman, and how quickly Eddie moved on after announcing him? Ha!!!

Then when I got home and watched it again, I cried like a little *****.

Well, I chatted with him before the game in the Stadium Club, and did not come away dirty.

Hey guys...I'm on vacation out west (SF) so I didn't see any of the ceremony or game live. I have really spotty Internet, but I just watched it this morning on the Web site, and it brought tears to my eyes. I thought is was quite moving, and, as Ron said, the old guys passing the banner off to the new guys was really neat. Looking forward to getting home later this week to bring some good mojo back to the team so they get in the win column :)
