Don't feed me that shit. The two quotes from you point out your stupidity or hypocrisy.
You want to trade up to get defense which costs multiple spots that would be used to get offense.
If you don't think Wright is not the one for OT getting defense and spending the future on defense isn't going to fix OT and give Williams more time.
You waste not only one pick but multiple picks on something that doesn't fix the biggest need. So then we're left replacing Wright with low round picks who aren't likely to be great either.
If you want an oline that can stand up to the best dlines that's going to take a lot of top picks spent on oline until we get it right. Getting dline isn't going to magically make the team win when our own QB is breaking sack records because the oline is a revolving door of free shots at him.
You don't want the Bears to be good, you want the Bears to be nostalgic, which coincidentally is mostly being bad but having defense.
Contrast that to me saying stay put and get the BPA whether that's OT, RB, TE, DT or DE. That's my ranking of the players who could likely fall or otherwise be there at 10.
Everyone else seems to claim BPA but then also claim certain positions won't ever be worth a 10.
